Sotavento Club Apartments - Adults Only ★★★
"We have been coming to Sotovento for 3 years and will be booking for next year today. 😁 This hotel has the most fantastic staff, and we are looked after so very well it is humbling ❣️ The location is perfect for access to either Magaluf or Palma Nova with quite different vibes for eating out We come as a family with our kids and their respective partners and everyone here guarantees us the perfect summer holidays 😍"
Fergus Club Mallorca Waterpark ★★★★
"Location ideal, close to the beach and shops and bars. We upgraded to a Magnus suite with pool view, which on arrival seemed lovely. This is a 4 star hotel, but as the Jet2 rep said when I questioned this, it is only because of the amenities. There were 3 of us in the room (me and two teenagers) but only 2 cups and saucers, (which were never cleaned or changed all week, when I asked the maid to clean them she took one away and it wasnt replaced, so then we were down to 1), 2 T bags and coffee pods provided but no milk. I queried this at reception and was told they don't provide milk in the rooms, you have to fetch some in a glass from the restaurant. Our bathroom wasn't cleaned even when the shower tray had sand in it from the beach. All the towels were changed even when I'd only put hand towels for changing on the floor. I've always tried to save on washing when on holiday. The safes in the rooms all have keys with your room number on the tag, so you have to carry it around with you which isn't very safe if you lose it. It must be well over 8 years since I've had a key, they've all been digital safes even in 3 star hotels. The kids loved the hotel only because of the waterslides. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone."
Bahia Principe Escape Coral Playa - Adults Only ★★★★
"Amazing service"
HSM Don Juan ★★★
"Stayed at this hotel for a week with friends (all 18/19). On arrival, took over 30 minutes for the staff to check us in. Was also interrupted at 4am and made to pay tourist tax which should have been done upon arrival. Rooms are nice, clean, cleaners in every day if you wish. 15-20 minute walk to the strip/beach and 10 minute walk to most of the fast food places. The door to the bathroom gives little to no privacy as when closed it leaves large gaps which can be seen through. Pool is small but it is a smaller hotel so not too bad, enough sunbeds. Staff for the most part extremely friendly, great bartender and the breakfast buffet had great variety. However, one night i was entering the hotel with a male friend (who was also staying in the hotel) and I was stopped by a security guard who I have interacted with multiple times prior through the week. My friend was told not to come with me and I was taken to the front desk by myself where I was practically interrogated for my name, DOB and room number, even though I had the non-removable hotel tangerine wristband on me. I found this quite frankly rude and intimidating as a younger girl, so not happy about my experience on that part. I do understand that the hotel cannot have any people in that are not paying to stay there but I had a wristband and room key on my person. I doubt this would have happened to an older guest!"
Tent Calvia Beach ★★★★
"Firstly, I would like to say that I absolutely enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would absolutely return, here follows a review that I would have wanted to read prior to arriving. First impressions were that it seemed very clean, we checked in at reception with no issues- we were staying in the apartments and I do feel like it would have been useful for a map to be provided as the directions were a bit ambiguous- however we were able to locate the apartments with little issue. The rooms were OK, they were clean and very spacious- the air conditioning was very efficient and kept the whole apartment cool. The balcony was lovely but the view was over the bins/car park which wasn't the most lovely but was a minor issue. The bigger issue was the cockerel that was "cock-a-doodle-dooing" every 30 seconds which was less than ideal. The location was perfect for what we wanted, a short walk from the strip and beach- handy! The food was great for me but admittedly I'm not a fussy person, there was plenty of selection and on a whole the queues were managable, the drinks available left a lot to be desired and after a dodgy experience with sangria on the first night (I drank too much) I didn't really touch it after that. Housekeeping were spot on, we didn't hide any of our belongings and nothing went missing, they were all very friendly! The whole cup thing baffled me at first and I admittedly just kept paying for a new one because it was €1 and I couldn't be bothered carrying it around with me! The pools were all amazing however the coldest thing I have ever experienced in my life- a great hangover cure though! Staff were all incredibly friendly however there was an issue one night when there was a room above making the most news and my friend wasn't able to find security near the apartments, and had to walk over to the main reception for assistance with this- less than ideal! The only major issue we had was at check out, huge long queues that seemed to overwhelm the staff- but that was it! For the price I would absolutely reccomend this hotel and would absolutely return again! Xox"
Hotel Spa Flamboyan - Caribe ★★★★
"thank you was good"
Sol Guadalupe ★★★★
"Very friendly staff"
HM Martinique ★★★★
"The hotel is generally okay, but the cleaning is a disaster. I can't put it into words."
Tent Mojito Suites ★★★
"My partner and I are currently at the hotel. Our general assessment is positive. We did the checkin online prior to our arrival and once at the hotel it was quick. They give you a reusable plastic cup that if you lose you will have to pay 1 euro but it was no problem for us. I see this initiative well to avoid incidents with those at Cristal since the atmosphere is party and some people do not control. Even though they are made of plastic and reusable, the weight of the hotel collects many abandoned ones throughout the day. The hotel is huge divided into 4 areas. The atmosphere is 99% foreign, we do not coincide with Spaniards. The positive: The water park is amazing, the gym is really good outdoors and with background music, large and good machinery. The staff is attentive, from reception (Gloria greeted us upon arrival and is lovely) waiters, cleaning service, security and lifeguards are attentive at all times. It has 4 pool areas, from more lively ones with music and a calmer one without music. The location is perfect. Very close to the beach. The food is very good, varied and well cooked. There is something for everyone The least positive: The room/apartment assigned to us needs renovation to be 3 stars, they are outdated and so is the furniture, but for what we need it is fine. The elevators and common areas of the hallways also look like they are from the 60s. It is not all-inclusive, we knew that they only gave 3 alcoholic drinks for lunch and 3 for dinner but non-alcoholic smoothies are not included either and the bars close at 9, it is too much early Breakfast hours from 9 to 11 are fine, then there is brunch until 12:30. Lunch from 1 to 3 seems like little time to me, although later (from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.) there is a snack but they are hamburgers and dogs as well as dinner (6:00 to 9:00 p.m.) the meal hours could be longer. and dinners The first day we slept badly due to the party noises in the adjacent rooms. In summary: We quite liked the hotel and the attention of the staff and we would choose this hotel again if we returned to Magaluf, however, from what I have read in the press they are going to renovate it completely and give it a different approach, more for families and saying the entire resort in three hotels."
