"Scored 10 Amazing Stay, lots of parking space. You enter through a little arch gate into a beautiful colourful garden full of character. Philip and Nicky were so friendly and welcoming, they took the time to chat to us and ask us about our stay. We were given all the information we needed about the hotel and the surrounding area. We went up the winding stairs to our room which was well serviced with everything we needed, ample amount of tea, coffee and hot chocolate facilities with biscuits, toiletries, sweet treats and water and if we needed more of anything it was in baskets placed around the hall way. Everywhere was spotless. We then went into a Tudor style room for breakfast which was amazing, A variety of cereals, fruits, yoghurt, croissants, full fry if you wanted or eggs cooked anyway you wanted with toast. As much of a selection of juices, tea and coffee that you wanted. We have been travelling for over 30 years and have never stayed in such a welcoming hidden gem as The Olde Forge Hotel. "The overall environment is excellent! The room is spacious and comes with amenities like a hairdryer and an iron. The only downside is that the exhaust fan is quite noisy."

"Just got back from two nights staying in the crown frazer and his staff are first class the mother and daughter that run the bar area and the other lady’s are brilliant all hard workers also the rooms are perfect lovely and clean by the housekeeper my 4 stay there looking forward to the next time food is very good great value Derek macklin from slough"

"A Great Stay. I extended my time there after my initial booking. Amil, at reception, was polite and helpful and helped with all my requests. The room was one of the modernised ones and had nice bright decor with a very comfortable single bed and a very good bathroom with a Bath as well as a powerful shower. The hotel is in a perfect position - a walk to the town centre or the beach taking just minutes. I think that I booked for 1 or 2 days initially, but ended up staying for over a week, so that proves something. It was Excellent value as well - as a solo traveller I often stay in single rooms - but the Doubles/Twins didn't cost much more and I would have happily stayed in one of them if a single hadn't been available. If I had to pick negatives - No working Lift so that could be a problem for some and No Internet access - though I'm told the system is being upgraded. Again, not a problem for me. I'd certainly stay again and I intend to, soon. Well Done All."
