"We arrived early after a long journey in cold, heavy rain. Although our reservations was for one person, the hosts warmly welcomed both me and my partner without hesitation. Later, even though breakfast service had ended, they still prepared a delicious breakfast on my request. I’ve been a hotelier for two decades, so I’m aware what genuine hospitality looks & feels like. This guesthouse truly embodies a “home away from home”—warm, personal and thoughtful. The place was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Martina, our host, even treated me to slices of homemade cake as a complimentary treat since I wasn’t going out that evening. They allowed me a late checkout with no fuss and even offered me a lift to a nearby spot just five minutes away, when they realized I was struggling to find taxi! Who does that nowadays. This is what hospitality means: hosts who go above and beyond to ensure guests experience memorable, positive experience from arrival to departure.
