Disappointing Stay Despite a Promising Start – L’Escale Resort Marina & Spa, Seychelles. We stayed at L’Escale Resort over Easter, hoping to create special family memories. Upon arrival, the experience began on a positive note—check-in was smooth, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The resort itself has an elegant, modern design and initially gave off the impression of a true luxury getaway. We paid USD 8382 (plus 600 for extra bed) for 6 nights. However, things quickly took a turn once we entered our room. The lighting control panel was partially broken—only one of the three panels worked. Several lights didn’t function at all, and a power socket panel was damaged. While the rest of the room looked clean and comfortable, these maintenance issues were disappointing for a resort of this caliber. The following morning, we encountered more problems. Our key card suddenly stopped working after breakfast. We were told this might be because it had been near a phone, which seems like a weak excuse for what is likely a system issue. Overall, while L’Escale Resort looks beautiful and has the potential to be an excellent luxury destination, it’s let down by poor maintenance, weak systems, and extremely slow service. This place is to die for literally! Close to paradise is a better description. Peggy met us on arrival with such warmth I thought it would be good. We were not disappointed in any way. We leave in a blissful state and all we can say is visit and enjoy as we did. We trust you will enjoy as much as we did. Closer to paradise I cannot fathom.

Where to start..... seamless check-in experience. We felt welcomed right away. Everything was clearly articulated. The room was large and immaculate, featuring excellent décor. The breakfast was tasty, offering an extensive range of choices! The employees were considerate and made extra efforts to guarantee our comfort. The serene surroundings make it perfect for a calm retreat. The highlight of our stay was the hotel personnel. They made our visit genuinely unforgettable.

Very nice and warm welcome…front desk staff peggy / kelshia was the nicest with us …very delicious and amazing food and service we surely enjoy our time there even it was only one night it was worth it and again we would like to thank them for receiving us

Employees were really nice, professional and welcoming namely Dynise, hillary, michel, and chef Juan. Decor for birthday dinner was nice and thoughtful, the details was especiallythoughtful that they placed little birthday prompts on the table.. Photos attached
