Sea World Resort ★★★★
"The room is huge! The bed is also very large! One bed can easily fit one adult and one child. The water park inside the hotel is so much fun! Highly recommend for families traveling with children to Gold Coast!"
Pacific Views Resort ★★★★
"The view from the room is amazing, the kitchen is fully equipped with four gas burners, which is great."
Imperial Hotel Gold Coast ★★★★★
"Great atmosphere staff so helpful and attentive. Food was lovely great coffee."
Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast ★★★★★
"This hotel probably had a glorious past, but now it feels like it's faded, except for its private beach. The shopping mall across the street is practically deserted, with many stores closed. It's located a bit far in, closer to Sea World. There isn't even free bottled water in the room; you have to buy their eco-friendly cup to get water from the hallway. We were given a room in an annex, far from the main area, with an incredibly long corridor that seemed endless. It took at least 10 minutes to walk from our room to the lobby every day. The room's facilities looked very old, and the shower faucet in the bathroom was rusted. There was only a bathtub, no separate shower space. The room we got also had a connecting inner door. The most ridiculous thing was when we returned one afternoon and ran into a cleaning staff member, a man who looked South American. He seemed very unhappy to see us and didn't greet us at all. When he turned on the vacuum cleaner, he rudely vacuumed aggressively towards my feet. All the hotel staff seemed aloof; they wouldn't even greet you when you encountered them. Only the staff in the breakfast restaurant were okay, but breakfast was mostly Western-style with limited options. I don't feel it was worth the price."
Sunbird Beach Resort Main Beach ★★★★
"Good experience"
Maldives Resort Main Beach, Gold Coast ★★★
"The overall experience wasn’t enjoyable. The room was extremely dusty, dirty and was not cleaned to the standards expected. The bathroom sink was clogged, dirty walls, kitchen cutlery and plates dirty. Construction was going on in front of the building and it was extremely noisy, couldn’t sit out on the balcony. View was probably the only positive about my 4 night stay. Wouldn’t recommend this place."
Xanadu Main Beach Resort ★★★★
"Excellent hotel and facilities. Something for everyone. Beautiful views of the coastline and lovely balconies to enjoy the views. Close to Tedder Ave for great shopping."
Oscar on Main Beach Resort ★★★★
"This place was just amazing. The apartment was much bigger than expected. It was fantastic value for the price. Great location, very clean, the beds were comfortable, quiet and clean. Will return to this place next time int he area."
The Waterford on Main Beach ★★★★
"We had a fantastic stay. The standout feature was the view—it was absolutely incredible, with an almost 180-degree panoramic outlook over the ocean. We would honestly come back just for the view alone. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had some thoughtful touches, including a Nespresso machine and milk left in the fridge for our arrival, which we really appreciated. The beach is right out the front and is beautiful and supervised. It's about a 20-minute walk to Surfers Paradise, but we actually preferred Main Beach. It's quieter, feels more prestigious, and is just as walkable with nicer places to eat. The staff were excellent—very friendly, responsive, and happy to share helpful local tips. One thing to note is that if you're arriving on a Sunday, you'll need to arrange check-in in advance, as there's no one at the front desk. However, the communication was pretty responsive and well organized that this wasn't a problem at all. Overall, we highly recommend this property. It's a wonderful place to stay, and we'd happily return, especially for those unforgettable views."

Ocean Sands Resort
"Thhe apartment was very spacious, bigger than places we have stayed at before. It was clean and had all the modern appliances to make it very comfortable. Perfect location to shops and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely going back again!"
Contessa Holiday Apartments
"This is our fourth time holidaying at The Contessa. Each time seems to get better and better. The location is fantastic: just a short walk to so many wonderful eateries, light rail and buses. The Contessa holiday apartments are amazing. The complex has a huge outdoor water pool and a large spa and magnificent gardens: great spot for the kids to play as well as a tennis court. There is also an indoor pool and spa downstairs inside the complex. Next to those facilities is a timber deck overlooking the inland waterways and a lovely spot for a picnic close to home. The gym is right there too. The beach is only a stroll away. We love apartment 263, it is especially homely with some lovely touches and well equipped. There are panoramic water views to help relax and unwind. The building manager William is on site for your questions and always keen to assist. Simply magic. We will be returning in2025."
Chidori Court
"Fabulous stay. Extremely well equipped apartment...even had weighing scales! 2 bed 2 bath and very spacious. Very comfortable and a real home from home. Helpful, friendly reception. Pleasant pool and BBQ area. Main Beach is a very upmarket area and Tedder Avenue is the main drag and literally minutes from the apartment, as is the beach in the other direction. It's about a 30 minute flat, paved walk along the beach path to Surfers Paradise. The location was perfect. It was relatively quiet although there is a major building project just down the road that looks like it will be ongoing for a while yet. However you don't expect to come to the Gold Coast without finding active building projects!! We would definitely stay here again if in the area."
