Right by nishi Maizuru station, which is where the special sightseeing train akamatsu ends. Room size is rather spacious for one pax and a business hotel.

Room was clean and comfortable, but a strong oily, deep-fried smell filled the corridor and my room (703) throughout my stay. The fumes came through the ceiling vent near the door, making the room stuffy and unpleasant. I barely slept and had to leave the window slightly open in 10°C weather. I reported it to reception—they said it was from a banquet event—but the smell lingered heavily, and even my clothes and hair smelled oily after checkout. This was a really disappointing experience, as it felt like a ventilation issue. There’s no reason the oily fumes should have kept seeping through all night as if they were deep frying in my ceiling for 24 hours nonstop.

Great location in town near the train station, and on the major roads to get around the area. Good size rooms and relatively new and excellent price for what you get. Parking also available right next door. Close to good restaurants and supermarkets too.

When we booked the hotel, there were no twin rooms available, so our group of four booked four single rooms. The location was excellent; it was just 200 meters to the right after exiting Nishi-Maizuru Station. The hotel facilities were rather old, and the keys were the traditional kind. There was a restaurant on the first floor; breakfast was a buffet, and lunch and dinner were à la carte—the food was good and the prices were reasonable. There was a public bath, but men and women used it in shifts, which made us a little uncomfortable, so we didn't use it. The front desk staff were very welcoming. The hotel didn't have a laundry room, but there was a large self-service laundry room a few minutes' walk from a side entrance. Maizuru Castle was within walking distance. There was no direct bus to the seafood market, so we took a taxi there and asked a local to call a car for us on the way back.

Although the hotel is old and has been renovated, the cleanliness and comfort of the room are very good. It is very close to the station and there is a car rental place opposite. If you drive or take a taxi, there is a large supermarket nearby. The most important thing is that the service of the hotel is very good. Although it is an old hotel, the service has not decreased. When I checked out on the last day, I forgot my glasses. I called the hotel through the platform and the hotel immediately sent them to us. We paid for the shipping ourselves, but I think it would be great if they didn't provide this set of services. On the contrary, the hotel didn't help us collect our bags on our next trip. Package, finally solved the problem. I can only say that the hotel service in the afternoon was very good, and they helped us wipe our glasses clean during the delivery process. The things were packed before delivery. It was very good. It is a hotel worth recommending. The only drawback is that Caramel has time restrictions for boys and girls. They have to exchange time in the same place. Because it is from 5 to 8 o'clock for boys, and 8:15 to 10 for girls. I feel that it is not OK for men and women to pick up each other like this. I think everything else is very good, and the price is very cheap and very reasonable. I will stay there again next time. In addition, the hotel also provides smoking, which is a bit convenient when the weather is cold.

Mark this hotel. It’s the first time I slept in and missed breakfast time... Maizuru is a very quiet town. Those who like it will love it, and those who can’t stand it will be very crazy.

It's a 30-second walk from the south gate of Nishi-Maizuru Station, and it's just door-to-door:) The facilities are relatively old, but the hygiene is fine. There is a big supermarket at the north exit of the station for dinner. I also bought some beer and snacks by the way, which is very convenient. It is OK as a transfer station to Amanohashidate the next day.

The hotel is right next to Nishi-Maizuru Station, and the highway buses to Amanohashidate and Osaka-Kyoto are right opposite the hotel, which is very convenient. The hotel is relatively old overall but the lobby is very grand. The room has been newly renovated and is very cost-effective.
