Makarem Ajyad Makkah Hotel

Customer service was great! Although we didn’t get room side-by-side receptionist was nice enough to give a room on the same floor. Staffs were helpful and efficient in transporting our bags to and from our room . As a 5 star hotel I was expecting the housekeeping service to be exceptional. We had to request for soap to be refilled when earlier that day the soap was nearly empty when we called in housekeeping. The bed wasn’t mend to perfection, part of the blanket wasn’t tucked in, as though it was left the way it was. I called for Makarem.you to get a feathered pillow but was told to call housekeeping instead when the instructions clearly stated otherwise . Some parts of the room weren’t updated, with lose screws, pale lighting, but the most shocking part was the shower didn’t have a tap where we could take our ablution since majority of those who come are pilgrims .

This hotel location is great on Ajyad Road just cross the road and under the flyover you are on pigeon park side about 3 minutes in total to gate number one of haram (king Abdulaziz gate) you can perform jamat on level six of the hotel if can’t reach on time.

The room is spacious, very near to al haram approximately 5 mins walking, The receptionist, Mr Al Haritha is very kind, he give us early check in Except the bell boy, he quite rude and hold our car door request for more tips saying that the amount we gave him is not enough
