Terrible experience at this hotel. The reception staff, a woman called Wa’ed, decided to take a break when there were queues of people waiting to check in. After complaining to the manager that it was unprofessional to leave customers waiting he was overwhelmed and didn’t know what to say. These are fundamentals that the hotel could not get right. The phones in the room were not working and I called the front desk over 15x from my mobile but no one answered. I then had to go down to request they fix the phone. The engineer came to the room, inspected it said he would have to return the next day to fix it; he didn’t return. The Saudi front desk staff have no clue about customer service, the Saudi management are even more clueless. Avoid this hotel at all costs!
