"Pullman ZamZam Makkah is a solid choice for a pilgrim stay in Makkah, especially if your priority is proximity to the Haram and full luxury-hotel services. The location is almost unbeatable. If you manage to get the right block/floor/view and go with realistic expectations (given the size and crowd of the property), you’ll likely have a good experience. However — if you prefer tranquil, boutique feel, fewer crowds, or especially if you have mobility concerns (elderly, wheelchair) or fiscal constraints — you might want to compare a few other hotels slightly further but with less hustle."

"The hotel shuttle service was great and it moved on time. We stayed at 9th floor and housekeeper guy was so kind and smiley. There is mosque in front of hotel that was also awesome. The only problem that I had was to reach to hotel by phone before I arrive there. Lastly, the gym is out of service now. It is not a big issue but a remark."

"This hotel is configured like a budget hotel in China, and it's super crowded. The view outside the window is worth 3k, while the room itself is only worth 300. Also, the low-frequency noise from the air conditioning units on the rooftop of the building in front is very noticeable. However, when watching the Kaaba prayers, this noise always adds a touch of mystery. Plus, non-Muslims can visit Mecca, and if you stay at this hotel, you'll be woken up promptly at 2 AM, 4 AM, and 5:30 AM every day."

"DoubleTree has always been my choice since i first stayed here in 2022. This is my 3rd time staying and the level of hospitality and service is so wonderful. I tried other hotels on my last visit in January 2025, but it wasn't great, so here I am back at DoubleTree. The location to the Grand Mosque of Makkah is fairly reasonable - one can walk (via Hilton Convention Hotel) - sloped surface, or take the complimentary shuttle that stops at Hilton Conrad on Jabal Omar. Wear good walking shoes. Mr. Ahmed Elsayed at the restaurant is a top-notch manager. I only mentioned something to him, and he had his colleague make it especially for me. That was totally unexpected and they both went out of their way to ensure that it was a problem. They did it again the next day. Such personable service from both gentlemen and the others at DoubleTree Makkah. The room was spacious, clean, bathroom had Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries. The bed was super comfortable and I slept very well which is something rare! And of course the signature cookies i love. Thank you!!"

"This hotels location is perfect literally minutes away from the masjid al-haram. There is a special floor (C1) that leads you to the haram. The hotel is very clean and breakfast is open buffet which top notch!"
