Overall, it was okay, just a little less than I expected. The most noticeable issue was the poor soundproofing in the hotel rooms. We could clearly hear other doors opening and closing from inside our room.

The lobby is definitely five-star quality, very impressive. But then the room was only about three-star standard. The town itself is quite nice though, enjoyable to stroll around, and then grab dinner and drinks by the river in the evening.

The sink wasn't cleaned properly; it was draining slowly because it was clogged with a lot of hair. The surrounding area isn't very convenient or lively. If possible, I'd recommend staying closer to the Red House. The price is also a bit on the high side.

This trip is to celebrate my husband's birthday. The hotel kindly provided us with a quiet room on a higher floor. However, the view from my room, which was described as a city view, was actually blocked by the front building.Since we can see people in the opposite building, it's likely they can see us as well. This makes it necessary for us to constantly close the curtains for privacy, which unfortunately makes us feel like we'd rather be outside rather than relaxing in the room.

Generally ok, staffs are very friendly. The only negative thing is they are not selling the body lotion, which is very sad. I love the body lotion so much! Will come back again ~

This hotel offers great value for money and is within walking distance of all the main attractions in Malacca. You can ask the front desk for more bottled water once you've finished the ones in your room, and there's also complimentary lemonade in the lobby. The room itself is very spacious. The only minor drawback is that the central air conditioning can be a bit noisy.
