I think overall, Swiss served better than The Shore in terms of of the hospitality and the room conditions. Pool was great for kids. Aircond is sooo cold! Strategic locations to go everywhere. The Laksa Nyonya iss sooooo delicious!

Another unpleasant experience during recent stay. Kinda upset that the hotel didn’t even bother to read my special request that I have indicated in my booking a week before the check in. Regularly staying here for my business trip, and this is not the first time they disappointed me. Reached hotel at 5pm after long business meeting, and been told my room is facing the pool side and at lower floor. I have clearly indicated higher floor and river view which I have been staying in the same floor / same room during each of my stay. But they’re totally not aware I have indicated such request for my booking and ended up I waited for almost 40min++ for them to get another river view room ready for me. Before they do so, they actually asked me to wait until 8pm if I want a river view room which I’m totally speechless. I’ve booked for premier room not standard room, and kinda shocked when I heard that remarks from the receptionist Location is definitely very strategic. I hope the next trip I won’t get disappointed again.

The hotel is poor maintenance. A lot of cabinet doors are distorted. Water flow in the bath room is slow flowing. The door latch is in bad condition.

Rooms were large and clean. Bathroom could be better refurbished but alright. Bed and aircon is all good

Great location, near Melak river bank and walkable distance to Jonker Street. Room and bathroom are spacious.

My partner and I really enjoyed this stay. The location was close to local hotspots and markets and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had the best food we had in all of Malaysia. The room and halls were neat and clean. Extra benefit to have a mall attached to hotel where we could shop and enjoy the cool air. Would very much like to return one day.

It was a pleasant experience staying at Swiss Garden Melaka. Ambient is nice. Room is spacious and clean. Swimming pool and gym are great.

It was awesome, we had a great view of the Kg Molten. The only thing is the sheets and the towels looks like never washed😅. But the rest is awesome.

Nice hotel ever in melaka, near to town and nice pool for kids. Will repeat again if visit melaka

Very good overall. Staff are excellent and helpful. Older hotel but well maintained. Excellent value. Only negative is that the towels are getting worn and need replacing, but they are still clean. Beautiful views.

Spacious room with balcony, very clean, comfy bed, good water pressure, excellent breakfast especially the teh tarik, OMG!Will definitely come again… The pool is also huge…Planning for longer stay next time.. Its actually walking distance to jonker street but to walk at night the route seems unsafe..

location is ok, we walk ard 10mins to the jonker walk nothing to explore at tge shopping gallery link with the hotel, not even grocery bath towel looks dirty, may be they never change it since this hotel established service is great, the toilet seat was fixed right after we complaint, will supply extra bottles of water when we ask for.. the night view from 30th floor is superb

We stayed at Swiss-Garden Hotel Melaka during our recent family trip and had a generally pleasant stay. We travelled as a family of four, and the room size was comfortable enough for all of us. The layout was practical and there was sufficient space for luggage and movement. The room itself was clean and reasonably well kept, although the hotel does show some signs of aging, particularly in certain fixtures and furnishings. The location is fairly convenient, with easy access to parts of the city and not too far from the main attractions. It worked well for our short family visit around Melaka. One area that could use improvement is the gym, which unfortunately did not appear to be well maintained during our stay. Some of the equipment seemed worn and the overall condition could be better. Overall, the stay was comfortable and decent for families, especially if you are looking for a reasonably spacious room at a fair price. With some refurbishment and better maintenance of facilities, the hotel could definitely enhance the guest experience further.
