Best One Hotel

This place was a nightmare. I normally don't like to write things like this but wow... No one was at reception when we arrived (they had a break sign up) so we waited no problem. 20 min later I tried to contact the number that was at reception if you need the desk, I still did not get an answer to this day. After an hour a woman, would never guess she's staff as she was wearing her sleep/chill clothes (I don't care too much was just confusing) showed up said something like check in online, which is not actually possible, and left again. So we waited again. She came back at some point and actually checked us in but understanding each other was not really easy as she didn't speak English besides some single words. It was very confusing and it took a long time to even get the key to the room but we somehow managed, not knowing it would get worse.. The walls were moldy, people were smoking inside the hotel, our beds had a lot of stains, same as the towels and the blankets did not look like they have been washed. The bathroom was actually kinda okay water was flowing everywhere but that's something we're used to after 6 months SE Asia. We would've left and checked out but our budget was pretty tight and it was already paid so we tried to stay there only to sleep (which we did fully dressed and in our own towels). Night number two was even worse cause the rats or mice in the ceiling sounded like they were playing soccer. I do not understand the good reviews but these are just our experiences. They did try to make it look more inviting with some flowers in the hallways next to 2 beds and a mattress, or a pretty picture in the room covering the space the tv was supposed to be. They did have a mirror in the room though, a water dispenser and a fridge. Oh and no smoke detectors in our room, it was stuffed with toilet paper or something (picture attached). I don't know who decided to name the hotel but damn.. they need to put a **** ton of work into it to even get to "okayish hotel", but they're probably still on break...

I was so disappointed by my stay at the ‘Best One Hotel’. It certainly was not the ‘best one’, I was given a budget room and wasn’t expecting anything very fancy but a room with leaks from the toilet onto the floor, air conditioning was terrible and there was dirt marks on the walls; it was really disappointing. I expressed my concerns to the receptionist on the first night and the only advice was to pull the string inside of the top of the toilet to get it to flush; at this point an alternative room should of been offered to me. I asked for a full refund and decided to leave after one night and find alternative accommodation but it was refused even after having photo evidence. Definitely won’t be returning and I found the receptionist very rude 😟

The hotel contradicts its name. We had to book another hotel because the place is not good. They must have to improve their service. I just didn't have the picture..
