Malanda Lodge
"The place was quite pretty and the room was small and had very basic facilities ie a kettle and toaster and cup and plate. The rooms were not very sound proof. Hot water takes about 2 minutes to start warming up. Bed was hard. Not necessarily bad things depending on what you’re staying for and how long. I was only there for 2 nights while site seeing. Breakfast was silly at 8:30 to 9:30. If you’re working or site seeing you’re gone by then."
Rose Gums Wilderness Retreat
"This remote lodge where each cabin has total privacy is a hidden gem in a beautiful remote, forest location. The cabins are extremely well equipped and spacious. After your check-in you are left alone to enjoy and appreciate the solitude and nature."
Chambers Wildlife Rainforest Lodges
"Absolutely superb! For nature lovers and bird lovers, this is the place to stay. Only negative was that we couldn’t book a second night due to it being booked out. We had stayed here 5 years previously, it was still great but the cabins were a bit tired. However, this time around the cabin we stayed in was fully renovated and just beautiful. The king bed was so comfortable and my 14 year old said her bed was the best she had stayed in. The entertainment options/guest lounge were fantastic and well maintained and the night show of wildlife feeding was the highlight. Location is so good too, nice and close to Yungaburra but far enough away to feel completely isolated and at peace. Cannot recommend highly enough."
Malanda Falls Retreat
"Best air bnb type accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. It was absolutely immaculate. It was clean, extremely well appointed and had everything you could possibly need plus many little extras. Location is perfect to explore the Atherton Tablelands region. Hosts were so welcoming but while they lived in a seperate house on the same property, I never knew they were there, my privacy was completely respected."
The Canopy Rainforest Treehouses & Wildlife Sanctuary
"Had the most amazing few nights at The Canopy Rainforest Treehouses and Wildlife Sanctuary. A once in a lifetime stay, totally immersed in nature on the most beautiful site! The treehouses are lovely and very well equipped with all you could need for a comfortable visit. My favourite memory was having a cup of tea on the balcony in the morning and watching the wildlife below :) Very lucky to see the Cassowary family multiple times during our stay :) So glad to have had this experience of the beautiful Queensland rainforest."
Mt Quincan Crater Retreat
"Our four-night stay in the Milky Wood treehouse was incredibly relaxing. This retreat perfectly combines nature and luxury, offering breathtaking countryside views. We were delighted by the sounds of birds and the opportunity to spot wallabies and red-legged pademelons. The fresh baked scones and well-stocked refrigerator for breakfast were a delightful touch. Exploring the property on the walks added to the overall experience. (If you are concerned about the lack of wifi, there was enough 4G signal to take a video call) "
