The pool and pool facilities are very dark and depressing. It is very run down and in need of a major refurbishment. The whirlpool was broken and had no water in it so you could see how bad it was. There was a hot tub tucked away in a corner but to get in it you have to climb some wooden stairs and it was quite a drop to enter the tub. Not very safe especially as the steps were very wet. We were very dissaponted, not what you would expect from this resort especially as everybody is raving about it.

We discovered Potters resorts in 2022. I really should have done a review sooner! This place is amazing! It's not cheap, I get that but, it is positively perfect in all respects. It is all-inclusive. That is food, drinks, evening shows of west end quality, live music all the time by brilliant singers, quizzes, archery, shooting, karting, 3 par pitch and put, mini golf, laser clays, swimming, sauna, hot tub, crafts of varying things. For extra money there's, bingo and the spa with massages, pedicures, manicures. Honestly, there's everything going on but if you don't want to, you don't have to. You can just chill. The food is brilliant, the staff are all so friendly, the rooms are great, whether in the hotel or the village. The village rooms are actually better than the hotel but they are still working on the hotel rooms. All the rooms have tea/coffee making (although, you know, the coffee is free, all-inclusive, so why drink rubbish sachet coffee in your room when you could be having delicious coffee downstairs making friends?) Iron and ironing boards. Soap and shower gel (if you care for your hair, bring your own shampoo conditioner) TV (we never turn it on, too much going on, too late to bed every night of our stay) I don't know what else to say. Potters resort Five Lakes is absolutely fantastic in every way.

I had worked on the Friday arrival day so was looking forward to a nice bath ready to chill out, the bath plug was missing so had to walk back over to reception from the Village. Once reported had to wait for maintenance to come over with one, room was spacious and we had outside patio area nice. Friday night's meal was roast beef absolutely disgusting, so tough couldn't cut it such a shame as it smelt lovely, rest of the meal's were good with plenty of choice. Staff friendly and they were just about coping with the number of guest's, think they were short staffed. Entertainment was brilliant especially the Sunday night show, really outdone themselves. Had to queue for most outdoor activities, but we experienced new thing's like shooting, archery etc. Housekeeping needs a bit of time dirty glasses left outside our main block for whole weekend, had to walk over again for toilet roll no spare left in the room ! Good job I'm able bodied keep going over to reception.

Not everyone plays bingo. We had a good 4 day break but I feel compelled to gripe about the timing of the Bingo sessions. I don’t begrudge anyone the opportunity of playing bingo on their holiday but please, Potters, can you reschedule it away from the evening Theatre performance. K At five lakes 3 out of 4 daily Bingo sessions were played in the Theatre at 7.30 til 8.30. This meant that players got settled into the best seats then remained for the start of the shows. We found it very frustrating that the we had no chance of finding a decent seat at 8.30 when the entertainment started. Why, or why can’t Bingo be played each day at 4 til 5. Apart from that, everything else about our holiday was excellent.

Avery special experience. The service was impeccable and no matter who we met from gardener to waitress we received a big smile and a genuine welcome. There are lots to do during the day and the entertainment in the theatre is fantastic and every bit as good as the west end of London. This is a very genuine recomendation you will not be disappointed.

wonderful holiday had a brilliant time. There is such a variety of things to do kept us entertained whatever the weather. We managed to win medals for our skilled driving of the golf carts this was such fun. Food was excellent our server Ryan did a brilliant job serving us cannot thank him enough. This includes all staff they go that step further. Shows on a night were just amazing we loved them and loved having the drinks brought to the tables, we will be returning at some point.

Lots of good things done well at 5 lakes, but obsession with loud music lets them down. Too loud at times in the theatre and how are you?could not get to sleep due to loud music still being played late at night. Staff friendly, food and service good, lots of activities.

Food was plentiful and.good .Entertainment first class Last time we stayed in the hotel, this time the village rooms, would not stay in village again ,was told.5 mins walk from main building ,but hubby has arthritis so from the theatre at end of the night was at least 20 mins to our block then 2 flights of stairs ( no lift ) after 4 days he was in agony 😪 the room is billed as deluxe,ok it was big but needs TLC...quite dusty, toilet bowl stained, sink plug did not retain the water, filthy fan, sink although clean needed a good scrub under rim..black mould, gross tv remote..hubby cleaned with a sanitiser wipe, door card failed 3 times..meaning walk all the way back to reception but the door mechanism unit was very loose..did report it overall we had a good stay but in my opinion not 5 * or deluxe, and avoid if you have mobility problems !
