What other hotel in the world gives you a Bon Voyage cake for breakfast on the day of checking out? Admittedly I'd been staying there for nearly 3 weeks, but when the cake turned up with the kitchen staff in tow it was a surprising culmination to 3 weeks of excellent service, tasty food, and comfortable sleeping. The hotel is very conveniently located within 5 minutes' walk of the ferry from the airport. Or you can take the hotel’s car, but why would you not take a boat in the Maldives? There’s a choice of restaurants, breakfast with just about every choice you could wish for, and a small gym. There’s also a pool next to the roof-top restaurant with the best view in the Indian Ocean. Most people probably spend only a day or two in Male, but if you’re looking for somewhere very pleasant to spend that time, Hotel Jen should be at the top of your list.

After a bad experience this holiday booking somewhere on the other island opposite Male for our forward journey, I was getting my hopes up! But upon arriving at Somerset we were greeted with smiles, a drink and cold towels. Not to mention the lovely driver who gave us some information on the city during the drive from the airport. The hotel, by any standard, ticks all the boxes! The restaurant has the best food and after walking around the street we decided we wouldn’t eat anywhere else. The staff go above and beyond and were friendlier than the island resort we’d spent 5 days at. This was the first time we actually wanted to ‘tip’ the staff. The room has everything you need. Yes the air conditioner in the main room smells a bit but it’s the same in Bali. It can’t be helped with the humidity! And the other comment about the call to prayer noise, you’re coming to a country that has their own traditions and I can’t see why you wouldn’t be respectful of that. Thanks for a fantastic stay and I will definitely be recommending to other friends.

It was really nice and very satisfied. Some regular beds are very comfortable ... the front desk is very polite ... the hotel is right by the sea, straight ahead is the Chinese embassy, and then going forward is KFC, and then the seafood dinner at the ferry terminal is also good.

After customs clearance on the day of arrival, Thomas' staff has already picked up the guests with a sign at the hotel entrance (free pick-up service is included in my reservation). He greeted us at the door before arriving at his small hotel. Very polite and caring. If there is no problem with your communication needs, the boss Thomas will give you a lot of tips for traveling on the island, such as how much local currency is appropriate to exchange, what local regulations are there, and so on. It is very important that this hotel should be the best Thai restaurant on Male Island. Very authentic thanks to the owner Thomas should have some stories in Thailand, there is no gossip about the specifics. If you eat a meal in person, the boss will recommend and serve you personally. Don't order too much. The next day we went to the resort island. It was a very pleasant day to stay in this hotel on Male Island. It is very convenient to buy swimming goggles, clothes, shoes and other necessary items in the hotel. In Muslim countries, alcohol and tobacco are prohibited, you can ask the boss.

The entire Male's hotel is probably of the Hanting class. Only available as a transition hotel. The service is very good, free pick-up and drop-off at the hotel is also delivered to the airport. It is recommended that you order a small suite with a balcony, otherwise the room is too small and very depressing. The ordinary room for the first night is very small! !! !! I stayed in the suite for one more night before going back, and felt more comfortable.

I had few expectations for this modest new hotel in the middle of rough-and-tough Male, but for a brief overnight layover it proved absolutely perfect. The airport pick-up was charming and efficient, the check-in staff was exemplary—gracious, professional and kind—and the room itself was clean, modern and had everything one might need. When we had to check out at 6:00 a.m. they even provided us with two huge packed breakfasts consisting of toast, sausages, pancakes, muffins, watermelon and eggs! It was a perfect distillation of a place that went beyond the call of duty in every way, with impeccable English-speaking staff from India and the Philippines. I would strongly recommend it to anyone overnighting in the capital before or after a connection to a faraway atoll.

Then the driver took us all the way around because the driver couldn't find where the hotel was. It took about half an hour to get to the hotel. But the hotel I arrived at was not the one I booked. It was a hotel called THREE IN. The latter praise was given to the THREE IN hotel, because I knew I was dumped, and I was very angry. At first, I was unwilling to get off the car. Later, the people of the hotel came to explain to us that the house had not opened before, and I did n’t know the truth. False, then there was a little black take me to see the room, because we were 14 people, booked 6 rooms, two of them are family rooms, I looked at each room again, and offered an extra bed for us I have been very angry during the whole process of viewing the room. I ca n’t communicate well with English, but Xiao Hei has been patient and bears my anger silently. After I looked at the room, I found that the decoration is better than what I booked. This time It's already midnight. I stayed with my companions. All the waiters always smiled and recommended us their Chinese food, but it was too expensive and we did n’t eat it. The breakfast provided the next day was simple but tasted good and was full. Later I took a look at Ctrip. The price of THREE IN was higher than that of the hotel I booked. It sent a fire to others for a night, but I always got smiles and guilt. So the praise is for THREE IN. Another praise was given to Ctrip customer service. After I stayed, the situation I reported online and Ctrip customer service also indicated that I did n’t want to change the hotel that night. After midnight, it was tossing and it was bright. To compensate, the way things are handled is generally satisfactory. Very timely

Hygiene: The most important thing for hotels in this price range in Madai is cleanliness. This one is very good. The room itself is relatively small, but very clean. Living on the 8th floor, having breakfast on the 9th floor, all with direct sea views. The flocks of pigeons downstairs are definitely an unforgettable memory. A hotel worth passing by again.

It was a great experience. We were picked up from the airport within 10 minutes of calling. Check in was great - greeted with some juice while we enjoyed the patio. The room was as promised - comfortable beds, nice little patio. We enjoyed the breakfast as well - we were able to sample some local food. My wife took a fall on the sidewalk and scrapped her knee. The staff was so nice. The rushed to get the medical kit and insisted on properly cleaning and dressing the scrape. I wish I could remember her name - she was so caring - you'll know here when you get there. She has amazing hazel/green eyes and kind smile. Thank you!
