Old Bell Hotel
9.1 (79 reviews)

Old Bell Hotel ★★★★

📍 Abbey Row, Malmesbury

"The overall experience of this hotel is very good. The process from check-in to check-out is very smooth. The service staff is friendly and polite, the room is clean and tidy, and the facilities are complete and well-maintained. The location is convenient and the surrounding living functions are also convenient. The overall accommodation environment is comfortable and relaxing. It is a pleasant accommodation experience and I will visit again if I have the opportunity in the future."

The Kings Arms Hotel
7.5 (44 reviews)

The Kings Arms Hotel ★★★

📍 29 High St, Malmesbury

"We stayed overnight in the outside rooms. These are spacious and clean and good for a dog. The car park is spacious but the entrance is narrow though the yard. We ate in the pub. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was OK. They were busy on a Sat night so food took a while to come. I’d recommend booking. They don’t do breakfast but the Summer Cafe up the road is great. The breakfasts and ambience are lovely. Go early as it’s popular."

Whatley Manor

The Horse & Groom Inn ★★★

📍 The Street, Malmesbury

"Open daily it says on website. Drove over for a drink-15 +miles +. Door locked. Big display board at entrance also says open daily!!! If you want customers this is not a good start. Will not bother coming back anytime soon. There are lots more who are open when advertised."

Whatley Manor ★★★★★
"We drove all the way from London to WHATLEY MANOR, the location is really rural bit quiet. IT IS A VERY BEAUTIFUL MANOR SINCE 1929. We booked a suite room and upgraded to extra single bed for my son and cost 150£, which is considered very expensive. We booked for 2 nights and it cost us 1500£, [ breakfast included ] in my opinion is very pricey for this location. I think their selling points are spa, sauna, thermal room , hydro pool but for Asian , it is too common for us.The beds are very comfortable, room is very spacious and cozy, provide good quality amenities. They have really beautiful garden good for walking and reading books. Beside price, everything is good."

The Horse & Groom Inn ★★★
"This Butcombe Pub needs a little care and kindly upgrade. Whilst obviously being an old Inn, hundreds of years old, there was a distinct lack of care & attention to its decor and surroundings. Lot's of cobwebs and dust in easily accessible places! Curtains hanging off curtain rails and windows that need a good clean. There's a lot of travelling noise from other guests too, spent most of the night listening to an argument - could hear every word, and snoring. However, the food was good and the staff could not be more pleasant or do enough to help. Nice vibe and friendly atmosphere. A little care and this venue could be very good."
