Hill River Resort by West Western

We've been there for our honeymoon trip. The room we booked is the most expensive room in the hotel and largest named "Maharaja Room". But when we checked in, the room has no good views as they provided in the picture and lower level which is Level 2. So we called to Receptionist and she offered us to take a look at Level 3. They have the room with good view at Level 3 but the room is smaller and it is deluxe room. We demand the partial refund since we have to pay like 100 dollars for 2 nights and what we get is like only 30 dollars a night. So I raised up a complaint to Trip CS. I don't like the hotel's reply. felt like i am cheated. The hotel replied that our room is Royal Deluxe room which is very smaller than the room that we got in the first place. So for the future visitors, pls kindly take the upfront rooms as i provided in blue color frame.

I booked this hotel through ******* because it had a 4-star rating, excellent reviews, and showed a location just 0.44 km from Mall Road. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and felt misleading. The overall cleanliness was unacceptable. Carpets in the room, reception, and hallways looked extremely dirty. The furniture fabric and cupboards were very dirty, baseboards were not clean, the floor had burn marks, and even the room phone had accumulated dust on it. The washroom had a strong drainage smell and the tiles were not properly cleaned. While the staff were friendly, the condition of the property is far from what anyone would expect from a 4-star hotel. The rating and reviews online do not reflect the actual condition of this place.

It is the most recommended hotel in all over manali and the view is just beautiful plus the staff are very sweet

We recently stayed at this hotel during our Manali trip, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best decisions of our journey. The biggest advantage of this place is its location. It’s at a comfortable walking distance from Mall Road, which made things extremely convenient for us. We could easily go for evening walks, shopping, cafés, and still return easily. The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained. The rooms were spacious, neat which is very important. The beds were comfortable, and hot water was available all the time. Waking up to the mountain view from the room was truly refreshing and made our mornings special. The staff deserves a special mention. Everyone was polite, friendly, and always ready to help, whether it was arranging local sightseeing, guiding us about nearby places, or helping with small requests. The food was fresh, tasty, and homely, especially breakfast and dinner. You can tell they focus on quality rather than just serving meals. The hotel felt very safe and peaceful. Families with kids will feel comfortable here, as the environment is calm and secure. Overall, it’s a warm, welcoming hotel that makes you feel at home while enjoying the beauty of Manali.

Had a great family stay at Hill River Resort. Clean and comfortable rooms, warm central heating, polite staff, and tasty food. Peaceful location and very relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended for a family stay!

I had parked my car perfectly but some untrained person while re-parking it at night scratched and dented it which I came to know in the morning.
