Conrad Bahrain Financial Harbour

My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. We booked two rooms and a living area, and every time we turned on the AC in the bedroom, a strong smell of smoke would fill the room. Every morning I woke up feeling unwell, unable to breathe properly, and with chest congestion. We reported the issue to the reception around noon, and they assured us it would be handled. Unfortunately, when we returned to the hotel at 11 PM, nothing had been fixed. We went back to the room and couldn’t tolerate the smoke smell at all. When we called again, they told us to wait 30 minutes, but the air was suffocating, so we went down to the reception. They eventually changed our room, and after two days of dealing with the smell and discomfort, I was finally able to sleep properly. However, the next day the experience got even worse. From 12 PM, the phone wouldn’t stop ringing. We asked for extra time before checking out and spoke with the manager, who agreed. Yet, only 30 minutes later, security knocked on the door. We didn’t hear it at first, and suddenly my children told me that they had opened the apartment door while we were still inside—despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being clearly displayed. This was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I travel frequently, and I have never had a hotel open the door on us like this. Unfortunately, this hotel does not respect guests, nor does it value privacy.

Very pleased with the professional of the worker at this hotel. They were very welcoming and quick Chen in and out. I really recommend this hotel for solo travelers.
