My husband and I came to the hotel on Friday 7/10/2022 room 1216 I honestly couldn't say anything negative about this hotel . The moment we walked in Georgia and neelam on reception greeted us warmly and explained everything. Once we settled in we came back to the bar to enjoy the amazing range of cocktails made by Gabriel :) the bar staff were all amazing from the manager phoebe to Pablo and andree they couldn't do more to make you feel welcome . Our room did have a view of the construction but we expected that as we are in the middle of Manchester and it was not a problem at all . The breakfast was beautiful unfortunately I didn't get the gentleman's name who was clearing the tables but he was so nice lastly I would like to give mo from housekeeping a massive shout out our room was spotless and he even gave me a kit kat 😀 what stands out about this hotel is the staff and I mean all the staff shine they all greet you with smiles and I know how hard that can be for a full shift 😀 can't wait to come back thank you

This hotel is advertised as no children however there were multiple children present staying at the hotel during our stay. Welcome: Average, not very engaging or informative. Generally pleasant enough. This was our only interaction with any staff for our entire stay. Room: room was nice enough, fairly clean although there was a small stain on our bed sheets next to the pillow. Bathroom door also looked as though it had taken some punches. Walls slightly discoloured but nice decor. Looked outside the window and lots of rubbish on the outside area floor. Sleep: Bed was comfortable, hotel was quiet, next to main road but not to noisy. I think my partner and I were unfortunate that we were next to someone who snores extremely loudly and the noise vibrated through the very VERY thin walls! Breakfast: variety of fruit, yoghurt, hot and cold drinks, cereals and cooked breakfast, pastries, jams etc. Restaurant appeared clean however in the current climate I would have expected hand sanitizers to be present at the food serving station given how many different people are helping themselves to breakfast. I would say this hotel is good value for money and with a small few changes could be improved vastly.

Very flexible with my arrival and check in. I couldn't get there until gone 10pm but they forwarded me my room entry codes etc. They also stay in touch via email and/ or whats app which is helpful. Single budget room was just fine for the price (£43). It was clean and tidy on arrival. No complaints with the shared kitchen/ bathroom areas. During my stay in September 2023 there were no noise complaints and I didn't hear a peep out of any other residents/ guests. The hotel can't be held responsible for sirens passing by in the night. It's a city. There are sirens.

Stayed in 2 bed apartment was super spacious, en-suite in one of the bedrooms and equipped with everything needed for your stay. Only thing that I would say could improve would be adding a safe in the apartments, this was something one of my friends wanted to use for some jewellery she had but we couldn’t find one in the apartment anywhere. Jordan on the main reception was fab and sorted out the things we asked for. Lovely, chatty and super friendly. Will only stay at Native for my Manchester trips.
Holiday Inn Express Manchester - East

Had to book an overnight stay near to the o2 Apollo due to crap parking at the location and another annoying stupid set of train strikes. Looked at a few budget hotels nearby and decided to go with the Holiday Inn Express as they had on-site parking, breakfast and other amenities very close by (i.e. MacDonalds etc). IT wasn't the cheapest option, not by a long chalk, but reviews were good and it certainly looked the best of the bunch that were available on that date. So, the hotel itself is conveniently located just off a busy main road directly into Manchester and close to motorways, It's in a pleasant park area and has lots of greenery to hide other buildings, roads etc, so that was nice. Checked in easy enough, you pay £5 per night for parking on arrival which was stated in the booking so no surprise, our ground floor room was very nice, simple and clean. Usual TV, hairdryer, kettle and hot drinks sachets. There was also a fan, which was handy as it was a very warm room despite the heating (wall heater) not being on. We were located at the back of the hotel which was very quiet - not the best view in the world but plenty greenery so not too bad (we didn't go there for the view!). The bathroom was small but functional and most importantly, clean! The shower was strong and hot with body soap and shampoo provided. The beds (we had a twin) were soft and comfortable - two pillows (just right for me) and blackout curtains made for a very pleasant nights' sleep. Breakfast, served 7.30am - 10am) was again, simple yet enough for anyone. Cereals, danishes, bread, jams, fruit etc and bacon, sausage, scrambled egg and beans for a hot breakfast with plenty drinks on offer, coffee, juices etc. Had better scramble eggs tbh but otherwise a very good effort for a budget hotel. So, in summary, this hotel does exactly what it says on the tin - it provides a convenient stop-over at a 'reasonable' price with good clean, comfortable accommodation to suit anyone really. P.S. The staff were very nice and helpful - if you need a taxi, 'In-time' were good and prompt but if later at night you may have more luck with an Uber. I would stay here again should the circumstances arise and can recommend to anyone requiring a hotel in this location.

We loved this hotel. I stayed with my daughter while visiting the university. It’s beautifully done, from the reception, bars and rooms. The staff were great too. A lovely welcome at reception, super waiting staff and especially the valet parking guys who were efficient and really charming. We will definitely stay again and I’m also looking forward to visiting some of their other establishments.

Manchester is known for its vibrant culture, architecture, sports scene, and technological output among others. The city is known among sports fans for being the home ground of two prominent football clubs of the Premier League, Manchester United, and Manchester City. The city of Manchester lies on the banks of the River Irwell and features a climate that is somewhat temperate oceanic. This type of climate is pretty common in the many British Isles and is characterized by cool summers coupled with warm winters, nothing too extreme. The precipitation rates are not very high but the occurrence is regular in the region. Relative to other portions of England, Manchester is slightly more humid in comparison. The topography of the region is that of a plain which is washed with river gravels.

The metropolitan borough of Manchester is served by the Manchester Airport (MAN) which is some 14 kilometres away from the city centre. Getting to Manchester from Manchester Airport takes around 18- 20 minutes by road. This airport is among the busiest airports of England which comprise three terminals for passenger use and one terminal for cargo and goods aviation. The Manchester Airport sprawls over an area of some 1400 hectares and has flight connectivity to over 200 destinations across the world. There are many options of transport to get from Manchester Airport to the city centre. One of them is the Airport Shuttle bus Service which covers the journey in some 25 minutes and charges around 9 £ for a one-way trip. Official airport taxis are available all day long and they are a comfortable way to get to the city. These taxis charge some 20 £ for the journey.
