The hotel is awesome. Great location, Great Interior, The staircase is just beautiful. In the middle of the city.

Location, location and location! The location of the hotel is excellent – just a 30-second walk from Piccadilly Gardens, which is an easy walking distance from Piccadilly Station as well as Victori Station. The hotel is situated just in the CENTRE of the centre of Manchester. The interior of the hotel’s public areas is also very gorgeous, and a twin room I stayed was spacious and comfortable. However, the building itself seems quite old and the windows are not double-glazed. Therefore, I tend to think that it would be rather cold in the room in winter. It would be ideal if the breakfast started at 7:00am, instead of 7:30am on weekdays. I actually had to give up full English breakfast, unfortunately, because I had to catch a train just after 8:00am. For guests who stay in the hotel on a business trip, having breakfast at 7:00am would be nice, as it gives them plenty of time in the morning before going to work.

It’s a beautiful building. The staff were pleasant and helpful. It was clean. For the money paid to be in the centre of Manchester it was well worth it.

Great price! not too far from the train station, a supermassive historic building. Easy to travel anywhere from it. The room is average but has everything you need. Sadly with this size of the hotel, there's no room service available. I was travel single, I got a double room but the bed size seems like is a bit small for two people.

Very grand traditional hotel. On the inside, it mixes modern with the old historic feel. The hotel workers are very friendly and pleasant, check-in is very quick, the rooms are spacious and clean, lots of tea and coffee in the room. There's a restaurant and bar downstairs and the buffet breakfast is superb - full english (sausage, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomato, beans, fried potato) cereals, fruits, breads and pastries with juices and hot drinks! Prices are reasonable for rooms. Would definitely stay here again.

We had an excellent night in a beautiful city room. The accommodations were comfortable, and the location was perfect. Highly recommend!

I'm really happy that I decided to book a stay at this hotel. Its central location in Manchester city is perfect for exploring all the attractions on foot. The room I stayed in was spacious and impeccably clean. The breakfast they served was absolutely delicious. However, the only downside was the lack of wifi in the rooms, which meant I had to go to the common area to get online.

Not the best most luxury hotel I’ve stayed in, room had some repairs etc that needed doing such as a few small holes in the wall and a broken shower head. Having said that for the price and for the location it’s incredibly good value

Great location, the room is spacious and clean, even breakfast have huge selections.

Despite an initial confusion about my booking , I added the breakfast and got an immediate upgrade to an executive double room, bed was comfy, shower was hot and consistent, the room did get a little hot during the night Breakfast was unlimited and fir the most part the cooked breakfast was well cooked, presented and plentiful. Would definitely stay again

Fairly standard Brittania offering although the breakfast service was good and the location in the heart of Manchester was perfect
