Ibis Budget Manchester Centre Pollard Street

The hotel isn’t exactly in the city centre but the area around the hotel is very pretty. There was air con in the room and a nice view. Honestly didn’t seem like a budget hotel.

It is very near to the Etihad Stadium and Co-op Live stadium. Took me 10-15 minutes speed walk (or maybe less than that) to go back to the hotel. It is very clean and they have a cheap parking available provided. Staffs are friendly and very polite. It also nearby the city centre and convenient shops which you will easily find restaurants, Tesco, Sainsbury, etc. will go back again if I have to go to Manchester in that area.

I arrived at the hotel at approximately 11:00pm and was informed that I would not be able to check into the room I had booked. No clear explanation was provided as to why the room was unavailable, despite my booking having been confirmed and the room being due to be available from 4:00pm. After a considerable delay, I was eventually able to access the room at around 12:45am. The following morning, I made several attempts to speak with the hotel manager but was unsuccessful. I also provided my contact details to reception and asked for them to be passed on so that the manager could contact me directly. I am still waiting for a response. Overall, the lack of communication, the significant delay in accessing a confirmed room, and the absence of any follow-up from management made this a very disappointing experience.

The hotel was lovely and clean my only complaint is check out was before twelve but the cleaners came into our room at twenty to twelve which was kind of annoying, but the hotel is lovely and I enjoyed my stay

Its alright affordable and meet the stanard as the price

Staff were very friendly and helpful  I mentioned in my booking form I had mobility issues and was given a room just around corner from lifts and to my delight and surprise it was a larger room than expected and had a disabled wet room. Very clean and decorated nicely  Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options Selection of snacks and drinks were good although a little pricey. Machine in reception to order an uber. Easy to use and fares reasonable  Would definitely use this hotel again and highly recommend 😊
