Perfect location just outside the Oxford train station. Nice architecture. Clean and well decorated room with amenities with good design.

We love this hotel’s style and design, very beautiful. It’s close to the train station and is in city centre. The room is a bit small than expected, so its a bit overpriced. Just book the normal/ standard room is fine next time i guess.

Wow! This is truly the best hotel in Manchester! Every room is unique. The rooms on the first floor have high ceilings which gives it a grandeur feel. The staff are excellent and really pull the stops out to make your stay here extra special. The complimentary drink to meet other hotel patrons between 5-6pm is a welcomed touch. The food in the Refuge restaurant is of a high standard and I can honestly say that their Sunday Roasts are one of the best I have ever had. Breakfast was also of excellent quality. Sunday evening live jazz in the bar creates a great vibe. What I truly like about this 5* hotel is the atmosphere. Unlike most hotels, this hotel does not have that lifeless clinical feel that the majority of hotels who are catering to business clients. There restaurant and bars are of a quality where you would want to go even if you are not lucky enough to stay in the hotel. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

This hotel is a located in the city and has magnificent outlooks and indoor decoration. The room is cozy and clean. But the Wi-Fi is so bad in our room that it is almost impossible to connect with unless you go to reception area. Plus there’s no lift from the door to my room which makes the experience more terrible. I think it’s a good place to visit but not to stay.

Love the room and the English feel to it. As for location wise, it is definitely very convenient place with local of shops nearby. On the not so good side, senior staff of the hotel actually needs service training. I did not have a great encounter with one of them. Overall, great hotel to stay in Regards, Richard

I booked a premium double room and it was very spacious. The hotel was really nice and tidy. Staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Both the front desk and housekeeping teams are amazing! Very considerate and always ready to serve. Welcome gift for us is a box of cream fudge and my children are thrilled to see it! Room is spacious and the bed is comfortable.

This was such a nice hotel! Highly recommend. We booked for two nights and because the first night had some pipe issues, we had to switch rooms in between the two nights. We did get complimentary breakfasts for the two days though, so that made up for it. Both rooms were super nice and clean, the hotel has been around for years and you can totally feel and experience the history! But they kept it up-to-date so theres a modern side to it too (such as the washrooms are all newly renovated). Would really recommend the breakfast as well because not only is the food great, the overall restaurant and bar area is gorgeous. This is also a pet friendly hotel so we got to enjoy seeing some furry friends too!

In many ways this is a great hotel. The decor is lovely, the location is great and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are a bit on the pricey side, but good quality. My only concern was that one of the adjoining walls in our room let a lot of noise through.

Honestly one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in! We loved our stay her and only wished we had more time to enjoy the hotel. The room was clean and nicely decorated. We will absolutely return to this hotel in the future.

You can’t get a better location with other properties. This hotel is so centrally located, with lots of interesting history about the building. Breakfast was very good.
