Premier Suites Manchester

It was unbearably hot inside the apartment when we stayed, even though it was cold outside. The windows only opened an inch and it felt like we were suffocating inside in the heat. We could not sleep because it was so hot and left after 1 night because it was so bad. The next day we both felt sick because of the heat and dehydration. Several other issues included: the toilet did not flush, the hallway carpets are badly stained, none of the lamps worked and there was a loud noise coming from the hot water heater closet. We also did not receive enough towels and staff were not helpful in getting us any more. Very unpleasant stay and would not recommend.

Stayed at this property few years back and the service was good. Expected the same and booked again for a weeks stay and ended up in a stinking room. The bedroom windows dont open. The response at the reception was pathetic and the housekeeping team dont care. They lost their standards and its no more a preferred option to stay in Manchester. Please keep away unless you wish to be in a smelly and stuffy place

We were allocated a top floor apartment and as we walked from the lift to the front door we were sweating! The apartment had no air conditioning and all the windows would only open a minimal amount. Portable fans were supplied but all they did was to re-distribute warm air! For a place to stay in Manchester for 2 days for our daughter's graduation it was the wrong choice! Do not stay here unless it is freezing outside!

The elevator was out of order, which was frustrating, going up and down from the 3rd floor with luggage. But to be fair, the manager Lesell was sympathetic and understating, offering assistance, and we felt well looked after. We would come here again

Stayed here in oct with my family as we were attending a funeral. Apartment was spotless & had everything we needed, beds were comfortable & it was very quiet. Car park was easy to find & loads of spaces, felt really safe with all the code to get it. It’s very central, close to everything & only a short walk to the tram to get you anywhere! Would definitely return to explore a bit more! Thanks again

Very clean, nice apartment. Location was fantastic for exploring everywhere in the city. It was also super quiet considering how central the location is. The only frustration was having to fork out £250 deposit for 2 nights stay, it seems very steep and was a surprise I hadn't counted on paying 4 days before (yes i know it was in the terms and conditions and I missed it!) I have received a full refund since but I still think it's a vast amount to expect people to put down for a 2 night stay. I was told it was to put off parties and TV smashing incidents, I only wish I was that rock n roll!

Disappointing stay - we have stayed previously at premier suites and had a very good experience. Unfortunately on this occasion it was very poor, the apartment had a very bad smell in the sitting area. We arrived late on the Friday night and brought food to pop in the oven when we arrived, when we put the oven on - the room started to smell even more of a stale food and the oven started to slightly smoke. After close inspection the oven had a tray full of grease and bits of someone previous food. This left a horrible smell the rest of our stay, luckily we never much time in the room only to sleep the rest of our stay. We did report to reception - so they could look into the issue when we left. It’s a big shame as the staff are very friendly and very helpful. After this experience we won’t be stopping again as a lot of other options in Manchester for next time

The website advertises a number of things which are not quite correct. Firstly the lovely red building in the photo is not the actual building but rather the building opposite. Secondly the gym is not two mins away but closed to 10. There was no red wine and there was not even a working iron. The rooms are tired and unloved to the extent that the milk supplied with the free tea and coffee had gone sour. All the stuff on the website regarding wellness and safety is just a PR exercise and doesn’t exist in reality. The location is good but there is so much better places to stay for the same price in this area. I did email staff on reception but I don’t get a reply.

I stayed here for 2 nights whilst working in Manchester and I couldn't have asked for a better stay. My hours were a little tricky with getting to reception to check in/out, and I was able to do both without any hassle and it fit into my schedule perfectly. The apartment was INCREDIBLY clean and was a lovely area, it is situated in the middle of town so the roads were a little noisy but I'm a light sleeper and it didn't affect my sleeping at all. I would recommend these apartments to anyone that is planning travel to Manchester for a luxurious stay in a great city.
