It's the mixture of old and new that's so delightful at Heaton Park. You're in the historic area of Bury, right next to a park and estate that dates back hundreds of years. Yet you're a short tram ride from an ultra-modern city, plus there's all mod cons in our hotel too. Feed the animals in Heaton Park. Or feed your appetite for shopping at Bury's famous shopping centre and market. Party like mad at Manchester Pride festival, or celebrate a win at Old Trafford. Then come back to comfy beds, 40 inch flat screen TVs and a Beefeater restaurant.Show More

A warm Mancunian welcome to a weary traveller was offered when I signed in for a nostalgic visit to the city. Mary provided just the right conversation and information opening doors with a lovely smile on her face.

Stayed two nights for a family wedding nearby. The ladies on reception were extremely helpful and arranged a mini bus with the next day shift checking the arrangements for us. They all went the extra mile and nothing was too much trouble. I include the cleaning staff in that too. Room was very clean and although beside a busy road, it was not noisy in the room.

I stay here about 20 times per year. The staff always friendly and accommodating. On my last visit I’d had a problem with not registering my car for parking and got some tickets. Mary and Natalie sorted them out in minutes saving me all the hassle of an appeal. Moreover the staff know I’m a light sleeper and always put me in room at back of hotel. They really do look after me and make it my home from home

2 night stay for watching Marathon. All staff have been very friendly. Meals available at the Beefeater next door (where the staff were also lovely) Plenty of free parking. Quiet room at back of building. Water and bananas were in reception on the day of the marathon which was a nice touch. Took 20 mins on the tram to get into city centre. Station 5 mins walk from hotel. Bought weekend tram ticket for £6.80 which was well worth it. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting Manchester

What an absolutely fantastic team. Particular thanks to Lisa, Natalia and Mary, for making my stays during NHS shift’s welcoming, personalised and safe. Definitely recommend staying here. Until next time when I’m back down from Scotland x

Stayed here previously as I regularly visit family and liked it so much booked again..mainly due to ease of parking, room being clean and the lovely receptionist (Mary). However the standards have gone downhill, asked to change rooms to be told they were full..Which was a lie as id already just checked online. Moved to the next door room (209) dumped bags and left as we were running late for our event. Returned late..went to bed..Had a disturbed sleep most of the night as the dust had set off my allergies.. upon inspection of this i was disgusted by the amount of dust like I am no snob but it was terrible and I wont be staying here again. No phone in the room to ring reception and only 1 towel..I was staying with my young daughter and couldnt leave her in bed to go to reception in the night. Yes £51 is not expensive but I expect it to be clean and would rather pay elsewhere for those standards in future as i think id have slept better in my car.

The hotel was clean and well maintained. Nice and comfortable room with everything we needed. Mary on the front desk was excellent she was really helpful and gave us all the information we needed to find and use the trams into the city centre and back.

I had the best time of my life and expent a marvellous holiday week. Nice location and conections nearby to Manchester city centre. I had to change urgently my hotel and they were marvellous in helping and providing a quick booking so I could have a great rest after a long day and a traumatic experience. The personel at reception were fantastic, specially Mary who was the lovely lady I encountered on my arrival. She was a star and was very helpfull. She even worried about my wellbeing despite of knowing me only after a few words.

I've stayed at this hotel twice. It's everything you would expect from a Premier inn. But there is something that stands out. Irish Mary. Staff like Mary make you feel extremely welcomed and also valued. Always willing to help, very friendly and has a joke with the customers. Management, if you're reading this then give this woman the praise she deserves.
