Cozy place, staff are nice. Always ask the reception to help you with guide and tuktuk rides as outside I got scammed big time. They put local noodles and chips on the fridge and did not mention that these are extra charge. Hence the transparency was zero. And they charged me x3

Lovely decorated hotel in the heart of Mandaly with very friendly and service. Absolute highlight is the breakfast room / restaurant. We spent 2 nights there and are very happy to have picked the right hotel!

I chose Bagan as my first stop for a 5-day trip. After staying there for two nights, I wanted a change of scenery, so I switched to a hotel in Mandalay that a friend recommended as good. However, after just one night, I immediately regretted it and returned to Bagan King. The service there is excellent, and because of its unique location, I didn't want to go around looking for food. The rooftop restaurant is fantastic – I think it's the best and cleanest restaurant I've eaten at in Mandalay. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time. The only minor drawback is that the rooftop restaurant doesn't have air conditioning. I suggest they could add some portable air coolers. I rarely leave reviews!
