"I stayed at Luxury Amar Tree Resort in Mandarmani in late December 2025 for 2 nights/3 days with my extended family, including my 90‑year‑old parents. We booked three Princess Suites (112, 122 and 522), which gave us plenty of space to relax together in the evenings. The biggest highlight was the location and beach access. The beach is beautiful, mostly clean, and wonderfully uncrowded, which made walks and time by the sea very relaxing for everyone in the family. The grounds are pretty and well‑kept, and the pool is huge and impressive, adding to the resort feel. Service was another strong point. The staff were consistently kind, friendly and proactive, and went out of their way to help our elderly parents, even carrying their wheelchairs up the stairs since there are no elevators in the guest buildings. This level of care made a big difference to our stay and is one of the main reasons I would recommend this resort for family trips. We also enjoyed the food. The menu felt quite diverse and most of what we tried was genuinely delicious. Standout dishes for us included the Manchurian chicken, murg malai tikka and dal makhni. Breakfast was included in our rate and was generally excellent, with a good egg and dosa station that kept everyone happy. The only thing that could make the breakfast experience even better would be improved coffee and tea options, such as an espresso machine and a wider selection of teas. In terms of rooms and comfort, the Princess Suites are large and spacious, which worked well for a multi‑generation family. The sofas are on the harder side, but overall the space is generous. In hindsight, we probably did not need three suites, as we mostly gathered in our parents’ suite in the evenings; next time we would likely book one suite as a common family space and two standard rooms. The tents on the property looked a bit too exposed for our taste, almost like being in an aquarium, though some guests may find that fun and different. The bathrooms were mostly clean and functional, though the second bathroom in suite 522 had a persistent smell, so we chose not to use it. The AC worked quickly and perfectly (even though it was not really needed in December), the Wi‑Fi was adequate for general use, and the water was hot—although it is worth noting that hot water does seem to run out if you shower too late, so earlier showers are advisable. Noise was one issue during our stay. On one of the nights, several guests in our building left their doors open and were partying very loudly with music blasting, shouting and singing. At one point, it genuinely felt as though the party was inside our room. I called the front desk around 10:30 pm, and to their credit, the situation was handled very quickly and the loud music stopped almost immediately. "Location: Near Market and Sea Beach Atmosphere: The overall atmosphere is very pleasant and beautiful. Rooms: We got the best room, which is 306. Although 305, 307, & 308 also have the same sea view room. Value: Rooms and the facilities provide value for money and our spacious time. "The staff was friendly and offered us welcome drink as we arrived. The property is newly opened so it was clean and hygienic. The pool was well maintained and the rooms were good. The bed was comfortable, but often the process facing power issues however the staff eagerly responded and resolved. The property was near the beach and right at the entrance of mandarmoni. We asked to stay in the pool after we checked out and they allowed which was great and we appreciate their gesture. The food was not up to the mark, the quantity was not sufficient for breakfast. There was no breakfast buffet which was a disappointment. We expected buffet breakfast and thali at the restaurant which needs to improve rest the stay was better. If you book directly with them they offer you an additional 10% discount."

"On 18th September, 2025 I ***** with my family visited Hotel Rupkatha at Mandarmoni. I booked two rooms and stayed there for two days on 18th and 19th. Special attraction of the hotel is to view sea just from the premises of the hotel. Sitting on chair in morning and afternoon beauty of the sea enjoyed satisfactorily. Sea beach is just doorstep of the hotel. Rooms of the hotels are nice and beautifully decorated. There are two floors only. Room service is available and staff behaviour are very cordial. Dining room is good and preparation of food are simply excellent. Veg and non veg both are very tasty and palatable. Cleanliness is truly excellent. Manager and other staff always ready to extend their services. It's located at Sonamuhi, Mandarmoni, district Purbo Medinipur, West Bengal. Car parking facility is available. In my view, hotel Rupkatha is an ideal place for spending vacation. Room charges are pocket friendly."
