Vinilia Wine Resort ★★★★
"We stayed at the Vinilia Wine Resort from August 17th to 20th, enthusiastically choosing a Junior Suite that, according to the description, should have included a large terrace—one of the key factors in our choice. Unfortunately, upon arrival, the welcome was imprecise and lacking in information. However, the real disappointment came a few hours later: the room's terrace was not private, as the description implied. During the "Fermentum" event, outside guests had free access to the terrace, and one of them—apparently drunk—even knocked on our door. This unpleasant incident completely ruined the experience. Furthermore, the music from the event continued until late at night (almost 2:00 a.m.), preventing us from sleeping. We find it unacceptable that outside guests are given priority over the rest and well-being of those who paid to stay at the property. Finally, we were surprised by the complete lack of a bidet in the Junior Suite—an essential feature in Italy, especially in a room of this category. Frankly, we wonder what the point is of booking a Junior Suite if it lacks basic comforts like privacy, quiet nights, and adequate bathrooms. Nonetheless, we feel it's fair to point out that the Vinilia Resort also has some advantages that make it particularly appealing. First and foremost, the Casamatta restaurant, chef Pietro Penna, and sommelier Pierpaolo, who were impeccable during our dinner. Also, receptionist Adriana, who went out of her way to ensure our stay was perfect, offering us invaluable advice. Finally, the location, which, despite being in the Apulian hinterland, is practically a crossroads between the Taranto, Lecce, and Brindisi areas, and also happens to be in the heart of the Primitivo wine region."
BHB Hotel ★★★★
"I and my girlfriend are very happy to have stayed in this hotel, all right, friendly and available staff, excellent breakfast, also from the point where it is located you can easily reach the best beaches in the area."
Palazzo Donna Elisabetta ★★★★★
"What an amazing hotel! From the very first moment, we felt incredibly welcome. The hospitality was outstanding – nothing was too much. The staff helped us with restaurant reservations and even arranged a wine tasting for us. Always with a smile. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and perfectly cool thanks to the air conditioning. The bathroom felt luxurious, with both a rain shower and waterfall shower, quality toiletries, and a toilet. The room also had a fridge, TV, wardrobe, and strong Wi-Fi. The bed was very comfortable too. Each morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast in a beautiful breakfast room or on the terrace outside. The hotel also features a peaceful garden with a lovely pool, perfect for relaxing – and you can even order drinks by the pool, which was a great plus. The location is ideal: charming restaurants within walking distance, and the hotel offers private parking on-site, which is very convenient. Altogether, this was a perfect stay with friendly, helpful staff, great facilities, and a truly relaxing atmosphere."
