The hotel and rooms at Cape Maclean look NOTHING like the website. Rooms are shabby with poor facilities. The 2 bedroom apartment was dark and dirty. Even the upgrade was poor - also dirty, a wardrobe with no hangers etc. the pool area is also run down and the covers on the sun loungers are filthy. It is on the shore and has nice swimming. Breakfast was good but dinner poor, especially for a vegetarian. The WiFi didn’t work although the manager did allow us to tether to him. But of course he was t around all the time. It needs a complete refurb

Room was out of this country and felt very close to home with comfortable beds,a very quiet and serene surrounding .Fast and convenient Room service and not forgetting the food.Simply a better stay whilst in Cape Maclear. Jane Chiwenda

best lake experience I have ever had. Great beach view, polite staff with great service. I loved the breakfast with seasonal sweet potatoes while the Chambo and Kampago were my favourite main meals. Adam, Innocent Jamila were amazing!!!! Will probably come again.
