Hotel H2O

Manila Bay
The hotel service is superb. No problem there. Swimming pool is a joke. It's not even inside the hotel. It's next to the stage and appears to have been the old place where they held their sea lions. Ginawang pool lng. The rooms are average. Biggest problem is that it hasn't decided if it's a room for kids and family or a honeymoon suite. The shower even when the door is closed leaks a lot of water so the entire bathroom is wet. The most disappointing is the actual Ocean Park. Limited animals and attractions. The show itself is limited to birds and 2 sea lions who do a few tricks for snacks. OK naman un show but the mere fact that they let their audience burn in the hot summer sun for 30min and the show is merely that is severely disappointing. They can't even pay for a good tent cover.
The Bayleaf Intramuros

Within the walls and historical area, to visit the historical places. The breakfast is reasonable and is served on the top floor so the view is good. Additionally, it has a restaurant and night bar on the roof that is very busy and has a good atmosphere. The rooms do not have all the maintenance and cleaning details of a 4-star hotel, but it is reasonable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Binondo
Location wise, super accessible to restaurants. Near a church and near to nearby tourist spot. The room is bigger than usual. There's a workspace where you can do your work properly. The comfort room is also big which I like since the bathtub is separate from the shower.

Manila Bay
I booked online, upon check in FO staffs said they don’t received yet my booking confirmation, I showed confirmation but she is hesitant to look at it, as she said should be on her system. So I wait for a while, by the way it’s past 6 pm .. and tired from airport. Room is spacious, comfortable king size bed. Limited time room amenities, garbage on side table not cleared, trash still in the bin, toilet not so clean and disposable slippers is open and used. At this point, I’m more disappointed. Breakfast is not so well. Below average in same hotel categories. The bread are nice, looks homemade. Most of staffs are trainee. Bellman, concierge are willing and ready to assist always.

Malate
I nice place in the middle of the crowded city. Clean and comfortable. Balcony door is blocked. Traffic ambient noise behind the window. No real sight of interest view. A lap pool, a bathing pool, and a hot jacuzzi outside.

The best thing about Benilde is the outstanding service by all the staffs. I want to make a special shout out to Sir Mark from front desk who ensured that I get the best room with Makati view (transferred me 2x since the other rooms have minor issues). Special shout out to Sir William and Sir Lito for ensuring that all the lights, the TV and safety deposit box are working. Special shoutout to Gemmay from housekeeping for attending to my requests: enough bottled water daily, cleaning my room and providing additional pillow and blanket to my guest. There was an earthquake during my stay and the staffs ensured that all guests are safe. I also like the hotel's proximity to many restaurants along Taft Ave. and also it is close to Mall of Asia. I like the electronic display in each room that displays 'Do Not Disturb' or 'Make Room'. Thank your for making my stay safe and comfortable.
