Sheraton Manila Bay

Manila Bay Manila|0.63km from Scottish Rite Temple
This hotel is adequate, but slightly overpriced vs. competition. While they have updated the lobby in recent years, from what I can tell there has been little effort to update guest rooms, which are dated vs. other 5 star properties like the Westin. The one differentiating factor this hotel previously had was a great breakfast buffet served in the Pacific Lounge on the 21st floor with floor to ceiling windows that gave a sweeping view of the skyline and the bay. It was carpeted with cushioned club chairs and those soft surfaces absorbed noise and the overall experience was a great way to start your day compared to the crowded and loud breakfast buffets at other 5 star hotels. Well someone decided to spend a lot of money to destroy that experience. They have opened a new restaurant on the first floor that is loud, crowded and gives you a view of 7-11 across the street instead of the bay. I spoke to the GM about this, so he already knows my opinion, but what continues to strike me is his point that the Pacific Lounge is “a premium space” - yes Sir, that’s true and previously it was one that virtually all your guests got to enjoy which is exactly why it was THE difference maker for this hotel. I came back thru Manila for a night on May 15 and was going to try the Sheraton one more time, but it was fully booked. Instead I stayed at the Westin for less money. There was no comparison- the Westin’s rooms have a much higher end finish, their food was better, and the service there was far superior like being provided a welcome drink and the Manager sending fruit to my room with a welcome note. The Sheraton Manila Bay is no longer on par with Manila’s best hotels

Nice location, room small but clean. Good service and security

Excellent price and room despite lack of most complimentary sundries you expect from hotels. For a price of just around 15 US dollars I got a family sized suite with a double bed and a bunk bed. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, however, the property has been having problems providing toiletries. In my first visit last August, there was absolutely no toiletries provided, but in this recent visit this September, a complete set was provided. This was not such a big issue for me though, since I usually carry around my own hygiene kit. But what I keep coming back for in this property is the surprisingly excellent food they provide, which is absolute home-cooked goodness. Overall, despite the shortcomings, the pros of this property far outweighs the cons. Overall

I was in StayMalate, but I was in the hotel's room, and I was in the hotel's room. The rooftop is super nice, you can eat a curry chicken with rice for 3 or 4 euros or other dishes. You can also make yourself eat, but given the price of the prepared meals, it's a pity to eat too much cooked meal pasta as the French I've seen recently. The toilets are very clean everywhere and the bathroom is also clean every day. The hotel is a very good hotel and is very comfortable and very comfortable. The Jeepney's stops are down the street and will bring you all over Manila, and 7/Eleven everywhere. For noise sensitives, provide Quies balls because there is noise at night in the street, but it's all the same or take a bed that doesn't give on the street. Another positive point is a very large Robinson shopping centre at 500 metres where there is as much food as stores like H&M, Samsung, restaurants ... So, for me, no hesitation, even the cat is nice 👍. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. The hotel is very clean and the bathroom is clean every day. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable. The hotel is a very good place to stay in the street, but it is a good place to stay in the street. The hotel is a very good restaurant, and it is a good restaurant.
Adriatico Arms Hotel

Adriatico Arms is a wonderful haven for those who need a relatively budget-friendly stay that places you in close proximity to major food spots, a mall, and Luneta Park. I stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights and I must say that I loved my stay. They gave me Room 204, which was just beside the 2nd floor landing. The room is relatively small, but spacious enough. I booked a Double Room, and it had a great hot/cold shower, a television set with HDMI and USB ports (great for casting your streaming videos from a phone). It also had a couple of arm chairs and a small round wooden table (which I used for my work laptop). Bathroom has no fan vent so best buy a deodorizer spray to keep it smelling nice. The room was clean. Nothing fancy, nothing frivolous, but it definitely served its purpose. Air-conditioning is great too. The hotel exudes a very rustic, homey feel. Dark wood definitely dominates the design, and reminds me in a way of some old Spanish stores and hotels. Again, simple. No frills. And I love it! No lift/elevator between floors, but the climb is so short so it's not an issue. Plus the staff are there to help, despite the pandemic climate (reduced manpower). Staff is very courteous! And while there is no regular housekeeping staff at night (reducer manpower during the pandemic), the front desk person is very accommodating with our questions. Internet connectivity is great. Not the best, for sure, but works well for the purpose I needed it for (I am able to stream movies and Netflix with almost no interruption). The hotel had a café on the ground floor and you'll see this once you enter the main door. Wasn't able to try and sample the dining experience as I am working at night and asleep for most of the day. I had my food delivered via the Grab app, and was only required to pick my delivery up from the first floor. There's a 7'11 store nearby where I got my water and snacks from. As always, I always recommend buying a spray can of lysol from the convenience store to just give the room a spray - especially your bed, regardless of what hotel you book in. This gives you extra peace of mind. Being smack right in the busy city of Manila, there's definitely a lot of street noise. Was pleased to be given a room towards the back of the hotel so there's less of that, but it's not an issue for me as I knew that I'm booking a city hotel and noise reduction will be almost impossible with such a small property. Overall, I LOVED my stay. This hotel is perfect for someone who is independent and has simple needs. Thank you to the staff who made my stay very pleasant and respected my need for privacy and to not be disturbed for anything.
G Square Residences

It was a little extravagant because I used the quadruple room by myself. However, the bed is narrow and you have to sleep diagonally to hit your head. Because it is right next to lrt, there is no choice but to make noise. If you make a reservation the day before, it costs 2,000 yen per night, so I would like to use it next time.
Amelie Hotel Manila

Enjoyed my stay at the Amelia hotel good location, super friendly staff, gym, nice rooftop pool with sun loungers table chairs. Good location near Robinsons mall plenty of resturants, walking distance to Rizal park and manila baywalk which can be seen from rooftop. Room was fine good size, bed comfy, shower spacious, breakfast room was nicely layed out food ok, sercurity outside of hotel area can be a bit unpleasant but i had no problemd. Distance from airport was around 30 mins theres a grab taxi stand outside the terminal doors i paid 380 peso avoid the other taxis who over charge. One negative of the hotel is the wifi i stayed on the 10th floor and it was very slow and kept dropping out and the connection was not much better in the lobby area very poor for an hotel of this standard. I would only return to the Amelia hotel if the wifi was better.
