It gave me a fantastic memory in my trip. The hotel is warmly decorated and the staff are exceptionally nice. The roof top open bath is a must. You can enjoy a nice bath with many stars in the sky. Delicious and healthy dinner. A place you must stay if you are in Okayama.

The amount of dinner was a little small, but it was very delicious! The breakfast was a little on the lighter side, but very delicious. The rice was especially delicious! I'm a woman in my 50s, but I ended up having seconds. The water in the bath was a little low, so it didn't warm me up. The landlady was very friendly, and I'd like to use this inn again.

Can go straight away, quiet and beautiful environment, warm and courteous workers. A very traditional Japanese hot spring hotel however no vending machine sent to the former gas station convenience store to buy all the snacks and beer.

櫻花季趕上了下雪氛圍感一下上來了，酒店人很多服務好小點心非常好吃，老闆娘也非常熱情，酒店有個安徽服務生交流無障礙，樓頂的貸切景色不錯就是水温有點低。

Hokkei rocks! The warm omotenashi spirit is everywhere. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, especially the landlady. Old-style welcome and special surprise. Rabbit-themed decor is so cute. Great fresh food, wonderful view and easy access to Sunayu open-air onsen next to river. Hotel’s onsen are wonderful too, overlooking the river and valley. Very comfortable room and bed. Staff is fluent in English. Thanks for such a memorable stay! I will return.

Generally a bad experience Generally a bad experience in our one-night stay. Our room is separated from the Main Building (around 150m), it is at the opposite side of the river and above the pub (named "PUBLICHOUSE LAUGHTALE" in google map), so it is a bit noisy at night. The room is not clean as we found residue in kitchen sink and hair in bathroom sink by previous visitors. The track of wooden window is full of dead insects. The toilet is disproportionately tiny consider the huge room size, it is also not tidy and clean, live and dead insects are found.
