A great afternoon tea, had the new spring menu which was amazing. The host Jim and Kate were exceptional and their attention to ensure we had a great afternoon was impeccable. Great venue, lovely atmosphere and I will be definitely making a return.

How we have never been here before is a mystery living only 20 miles away. However, we came for dinner on our wedding anniversary and were made to feel very special by Kate and Jim with their welcome and Bon homme. The location, food, ambience, service and peaceful setting made for a wonderful evening. Kate had even picked and arranged some fresh flowers for the table from her own garden for us. What a nice touch. One which we will remember and treasure for a long time. We would and loved to have stayed but had early appointments away the next day so would not have had time to enjoy a leisurely breakfast. However we will be back before too long and look forward to a return visit. Thank you once again for a lovely evening with a very personal touch

Afternoon tea Disappointing Sandwiches had been made some time,bread dry, not great,watercress on top was all limp curled up, cakes OK Very expensive for not great afternoon tea,had lot nicer afternoon teas else where. Disappointed.

First time visiting for Sunday lunch and what a fabulous experience! Excellent food, excellent surroundings and excellent staff who made us feel so welcome and couldn’t have done more…….. Highly recommended and will definitely be back for more!

we have just returned from a 3 night stay and spent much of our journey home down the A1 discussing how much we had enjoyed the weekend . Jim and Kate could not be more welcoming hosts .What struck us upon arrival was just how lovely and warm the hotel was, We had a great room, superviews across unspoilt countryside and there was absolutely no noise to worry about . A pint of ale in the cosy bar preceded an excellent meal on all 3 evenings. Breakfast was equally impressive and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts . you would pay twice as much for somewhere like this in the Cotswolds and I doubt it would be as good .We are already planning a second trip in the Autumn with both Southwell and Market Rasen race courses not that far away .

We had the most wonderful stay and were looked after by Jim and Kate in every regard. Cleatham Hall is stunning with breath taking views and luxurious rooms to wander in and out of whist admiring the decor and the building itself. We were looked after...... thank you so much.

We have just visited Cleatham Hall for an afternoon tea and following the fantastic food and service wanted to highlight just what a great venue this is. The owners Jim and Kate made us feel like good friends in fact it felt like we had just gone to visit friends for tea. Although travelling an hour to get to Cleatham Hall it was definitely well worth it and would highly recommend people visit. Thanks again for the welcome and great food.
