Chris and Tina are the best innkeepers we've met. Extremely accommodating, excellent food, welcoming room and house - they are 11 out of 10! If they have room, look no further and book there you will be totally happy with your decision. Also, Chris is fantastic as a massage therapist as well, so it is like an incredible combo! That's to them for making our son's graduation at Juniata an awesome trip!

The Pause was such a cozy, quiet respite in a lovely part of Central Pennsylvania. Chris and Tina are excellent hosts. Highly recommend adding on breakfast each morning and massage/bodywork sessions. I've never felt more relaxed! It's perfect for a romantic getaway or a spa weekend with friends. The views are spectacular--I'll bet it's even prettier in the fall!

What a lovely surprise our suite was for us at The Pause. The unremarkable exterior of the house that comes up abruptly from the road, hides a cozy suite! The bed and bedding were very comfortable, and the heated bathroom was clean, spacious and full of bathing products and towels (even makeup remover towels). The freshly prepared breakfast was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. Our hostesses were unobtrusive but always available by text. My massage was fantastic and again, our masseuse had respect for my calm comfort, which is a hallmark of The Pause. A sweet tote and T were gifts freely given! We highly recommend The Pause for your central PA stay.

This was our first time at a Bed and Breakfast and let's just say The Pause was a wonderful first experience! From the time we walk in the door, we were impressed with each detail that was put into making our weekend one to be remembered! Not to mention the phenomenal breakfast!!

Lovely and charming from check-in to check-out. Great accomodations at a great price. The breakfast was incredible. The owners clearly take a lot of pride in what they do and it shows in every detail. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again next time I'm in the area.
