The location is excellent, the rooms are spacious and bright, and the facilities are complete. The service team is warm and friendly, and the food is delicious and diverse, making people linger. Whether it is a leisure vacation or an adventure trip, this is a perfect choice for staying, highly recommended!

The room is pretty good, clean and hygienic. The food for three meals is rich in variety, delicious in color, fragrance and taste. There are also enthusiastic Maasai people. It was a wonderful experience...

The hotel is in the park, and the external environment is very good. The room is relatively old and the domestic Samsung is similar. There are not many varieties of food for three meals, but the taste is not bad.

The location of the hotel is very good, in the Masai Mara Park, it is very convenient to go to Safari. The environment of the hotel is also good, you can have close contact with wild animals. But the facilities in the hotel room are very poor, the door lock is broken, the bathroom door cannot be closed, and the water is yellow. Service is average.

I would like to take a moment to appreciate the wonderful hospitality we experienced at Keekorok Lodge during our recent 4-day visit to the Masai Mara with my father. Our stay was truly memorable, thanks to the warm and attentive staff who went out of their way to make us feel at home. The buffet meals served three times a day deserve a special mention—we were always well-fed before and after our safaris. A heartfelt thanks to Mr. Manish Kumar for his warm welcome and for accommodating our special requests. He thoughtfully arranged Mogos for us, and later even packed delicious Aloo Parathas for our bush lunch, which we enjoyed thoroughly in the middle of the savannah. The packed meals were neatly prepared, tidy, and easy to carry, making the safari experience all the more enjoyable. The overall hospitality of the staff, led by Mr. Manish, made our stay extremely comfortable. We left Keekorok Lodge completely satisfied and would highly recommend it, especially to fellow Indian travelers, for the following reasons: 1. Availability of Indian meals 2. Convenient location inside the Masai Mara National Reserve 3. Excellent professionalism and warm hospitality 4. 5 minutes drive to the keekorok airstrip. Keekorok Lodge truly made our trip special, and we are grateful for their outstanding service.

We stayed here in July for two nights and absolutely loved it! The staff were incredibly lovely and welcoming—especially the woman who greeted us at dinner both nights (I wish I could remember her name!). We loved exploring the beautiful grounds, and the Hippo Bar was such a unique experience—having a drink while watching the hippos was unforgettable. The lodge isn’t fenced, so animals do roam around at night, which only added to the magic of our stay. The rooms are a little dated, but it actually enhanced the rustic charm and fit perfectly with the vibe. The food was great, with plenty of variety to choose from. All in all, a fantastic experience that we’d happily recommend to anyone!

This lodge might be a bit old but it's doesn't affect overall experience. It is actually much better condition than I imagine prior the stay. Room is exceptionally clean and smells good during my stay thanks to Janet, the housekeeper! My mornings always light up with great service from Mark, Joanne and Abel. Abel makes the best spicy omelette in the world!! Also not to forget my favourite staff at this hotel, Gwendoline! Super sweet and cheerful girl although her task is just cooking the pasta! Will never forget their exceptional service extended during my stay. There's also a cute hippo bar where you'll see clan of hippo in the pool while having a drink. Will absolutely choose Keekorok again and again!

We recently stayed at Keekorok and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. All of the staff were helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We stayed in the chalet room which was quite basic, but had all the amenities we needed and was clean and functional. We spent most of our time out on game drives so didn’t need a luxurious room to stay in. The food at meal times was lovely and varied, the staff were always really friendly and polite. We also really enjoyed the hippo bar and watching hippos with elephants and buffalo in the distance. There was also the added experience of hippos and zebras in the grounds at night outside your room - unlike anything else! Our game driver Emanuel was fantastic. He really knew the area and where to find the animals so that we could see all the big five and really experience the Masai Mara. After reading some negative reviews, we were slightly cautious about staying here, but honestly couldn’t have had a better time.

MGM Keekorok Lodge , This was our second visit to this place,and I must say place has become better. Food was buffet type and had big spread of salads ,desserts and hot dishes , as well one of the evening chef has prepared African delicacy for us .we have enjoyed the food. Rooms were clean and provided with extra towels in the room Unfortunately when we were here hippo pond was not in operation though we have seen hippos in the hotel ground. We booked this trip 8 months in advance, only to be informed just 8 hours before arrival that there was a “hot water issue” at our booked rooms. This turned out to be untrue — they were simply overbooked. As a result, we were forced to stay in another location, which meant we missed seeing one side of the Masai Mara that we had planned for. The food was extremely poor — the same limited menu every day with no variety, and no taste whatsoever. For a place that charges premium prices, the quality was well below expectations. To make matters worse, the generators frequently failed. We had to dine in complete darkness, and in the mornings before safaris, we were forced to get ready in pitch black. It was both inconvenient and unsafe. Overall, this was a huge letdown and not worth the money. The mismanagement, lack of honesty, and poor facilities overshadowed the beauty of the Mara. We have stayed in this lodge few times prior and never experienced this type of service. After new management has taken over things have gone from bad to worse. Such a beautiful property in a prime location has all gone to dogs.

Just back from Safari across Kenya and spent 3 nights at Keekorok Lodge. 1stly the team here were great, very friendly and welcoming. My wife is GF and Lactose intolerant, the chefs and restaurant staff were great in ensuring they catered for her allergies and she never went hungry, with some dished made especially for her. We stayed in one of the detached lodges in the garden area and whilst it may not be the 1st in immaculate decoration it certainly served its purpose. comfortable and clean bedding, roll round mosquito net, great shower, powerful and HOT, so zero complaints about the room, we were just in it to sleep and shower, have stayed in worse hotel rooms in the UK, especially the shower! Only issue is you cant walk about freely between 19:00-06:00, well unless you want to come face to face with a Hippo (Not really an issue). One of the highlights of this hotel has to be the Hippo bar. It overlooks the Hippo pool with about 100 Hippos of all ages in it. Can create an interesting aroma if you are down wind, but an absolute privilege to be sat with a Beer whiling away an hour watching the Hippos interact with each other, oh and pass wind a lot ! The location of this hotel is its best feature, in the Masi Mara and on our Safari trips from the hotel we encountered many animals including Cheetahs, Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Zebra (100s) Buffalo, Wildebeest, Giraffes, etc etc etc, a great location and great experience. Thanks to all the staff at the Lodge.
