Grand Hotel Pianeta Maratea Resort ★★★★
"Dated structure but inserted in a unique landscape context. It was a joy for the eyes to get up every morning and admire the view. ROOMS Large and bright. Maybe I would change the TVs, but I must say very comfortable. RESTAURANT I recommend everyone to eat at least once on the terrace. Buffet could be improved but delicious food BEACH Stunning sea. In about 15 minutes we arrive with the shuttle, comfortable and modern. Pebbly sand but the cove is really worth experiencing. SERVICES large and always clean swimming pool. We did not use the sports fields but a couple of times the internal gym. Basic but very nice wellness area. The staff is always available. Everyone is very kind See you soon. We will return"
Santavenere Hotel ★★★★★
"Our stay at Santavenere in Maratea was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a professional and attentive staff. Every detail, from the reception to the restaurant service, was handled with care and elegance. The atmosphere is refined yet inviting, and the entire team goes above and beyond to ensure a flawless experience. The cuisine is exquisite, the setting breathtaking, and the service impeccable. We felt genuinely valued throughout our stay. A remarkable hotel that perfectly balances luxury and hospitality."
Hotel Ristorante Borgo la Tana ★★★
"We stayed a week in this hotel, with a friendly and friendly owner, and will provide us with information on the beaches and places to visit. The hotel is a spacious room with a clean and comfortable room, a semi-restaurant with a discrete formula with a menu alternative to the card. We thank all the staff for their professionalism."
Hotel Murmann ★★★★
"We stopped by Maratea for a night in April and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is incredibly convenient - a quick walk to the beach. The service was outstanding; we felt like we were the only guests in the hotel. The manager went out of his way to ensure that we were comfortable and cared for. The room was clean and spacious. We plan on staying at Murmann for longer next time we are in Maratea."
Hotel Villa Delle Meraviglie ★★★
"It is a beautiful hotel. Our room was gorgeous with a comfortable bed and lovely linens. The shower had great water pressure. The pool is perfect with magic views. The staff were charming and friendly. Breakfast was perfect. We wish we could have stayed longer."
La Locanda Delle Donne Monache ★★★★
"A stage of our road trip to Sicily from Rome led us to La Locanda delle Donne Monache, where we stayed for two nights. We were delighted that our agent had booked us into this small and very charming hotel, located above the ancient village of Maratea. It's a beautiful former convent, located high on the hillside above the village. It had been very hot the day we arrived and our lovely cool room, and the clean and inviting pool were very welcome after a long day of travelling! The hotel was a little difficult to find initially, but if you're arriving by car, the best advice is to keep following the road up! There is a private car park for the hotel, but it's easiest to take the car up to the hotel and then the staff will take it and park it for you, as access is quite tight. The staff were friendly and very welcoming, and helped us with our cases on arrival and departure. Our room was a good size, and had a large bathroom, which was decorated in a more traditional style rather than modern minimalist (but it's a traditional and very old building, so that was ok!), but was very clean. We also had our own private terrace, with a beautiful view overlooking the village and the hillside. A nice spot to start the day. The air conditioning was very welcome in the hot weather! Breakfast is served overlooking the swimming pool and is a small but good selection of food. If you wanted anything cooked to order, it was available on request. The hotel doesn't serve dinner, but the staff are happy to recommend places to eat in the village or down in the lower part of Maratea, by the beach, which is about ten minutes away by car. We found plenty of choices were available as we explored the streets and alleyways of the lovely village centre. We loved this little hotel - the staff were very kind and friendly, and the building itself is very charming, but be aware that access might be difficult if you have mobility issues. The pool is a great place to relax and enjoy the sunshine and the views over the village. We recommend the hotel and hope to visit again. Tip: If you want to go up to see Maratea's very own statue of Christ the Redeemer (worth the trip), take your car up to the car park around 5 minutes drive away, and take the short shuttle bus ride. It's possible to get there direct on foot, but it's a tough 50 minute walk up, especially in the heat. The views from there are amazing!"
Hotel Club San Diego ★★★
Hotel Martino ★★★
"This was our second visit to this wonderful paradise, just a few minutes from Maratea and a short drive to Christ the Redeemer statue. The entire hotel is calm, clean, comfortable, and relaxing, and a great breakfast is served at the adjacent restaurant. We recommend getting a room with a balcony and so you can watch the gorgeous sunset over the Mediterranean in the evenings, and sometimes see dolphins splashing in the mornings The housekeeping staff is thorough and attentive, but really the staff is wonderful and welcoming, especially Michela. "
B&b la Giara ★★★
