JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort

Just recently stayed at JWMarriot at Marco Island. (March 12-15) Reserved two rooms that were supposed to be Kings with pullout bed. When we arrived and checked in we had two king rooms with no pullout bed. We had our grandchildren with us and we needed the pullout beds. Hotel agreed to provide roll out bed but very uncomfortable and not what we paid for. I have requested a refund

Dated but elegant still. Very kid friendly and family oriented. I loved all the activities they had for kids. Front desk very nice and welcoming and rooms comfortable with small balcony. What I didn’t like was the rudeness and attitude of the male host/manager with vest in Maia breakfast. I came up to ask him a question, he ignored me twice and he rudely told me to go back and make the line. I was simply trying to ask him a question. We did make the line but I was very upset about this treatment.

I like the fact that we were right on the beach. The beach was beautiful and had amazing views. The staff was ready to assist. The pool area was also beautiful and clean.

Propert bathrooms were gross in kid areas I had to go to my room when at the pool The check in and check out were over 30 mins of waiting and crowded My friend shower did not get hot in room 310 Just over priced for an overall okay and not clean environment

We had the best week with our family. Lots of food options for everyone, great service. Highly recommend

We wanted to love this hotel. We live in area and made a weekend out of it for my wifes birthday. The cost was more than we wanted to pay at nearly $800 a night! Check In, despite asking for early check in our room was not ready. Understandable and I anticipated that. What was kind of disturbing was bag check, very chaotic and disorganized. When our room was ready we were told by bag check they couldnt find our bag, they asked me to go in there and locate, when i did they said"you can just take it up yourself if you want". Not the service inwould expect at a $800 a night hotel We splurged on chairs for $100 with setvice fees. The view was good, nothing disappointing here. Its a beautiful. The biggest complaint has to be the food and the service. Food was notnworth the money or the waits. Staff seems very disinterested in their jobs, no real urgency to take care of guests. Quinns was proably the most disappointting for food quality. Tiki bar took minutes to get 1 drink, one of the bartenders went to kitchen in middle.of the rush and didnt come back for 30 minutes. Lots of complaining guests. Overall the staff we dealt wil underwhelming, unhappy and not overly interested in helping. Overall a 2 out of 10. We would not come back for the prices. They need to do some serious hospitality training and not just focus on nickel and diming their guests. We stay at alot of hotels and this may be the most disappointing experience i can remember. We had high hopes.
