Stayed over Christmas as a family with a dog. What a lovely stay, from Ryan checking us in to the great rooms we stayed in. Really friendly staff (didn't get everyone's names unfortunately) and we loved the pool. Definitely will go back!

The room is clean and comfortable. I almost have good sleep all the night. The breakfast staff are friendly and the food is nice especially the mushroom and sausage. I promise will visit here again if there is business trip in future. Thank you.

Good housekeeping, friendly staff, room was spacious, nice shower. Label on shampoo was wrong. Waiters were understaffed, but food was high quality. Frequent miscommunication between front desk and other departments. Hot tub has been broken for two years, but spa was overall very nice. Expensive for what you get but I enjoyed myself.

Enjoyable stay. Lovely room , lovely beddng. Lovely bathroom , towels and toiletries good standard. Very clean throughout. Good breakfast , evening meals quite nice. Maybe the younger waiting staff , although nice and polite, could do with a senior overseer. Enjoy the spa facolities. As a repeat visitor would certainly recommend

We had a really lovely time. Was booked as a birthday present- dinner, bed and breakfast with access to the spa. We had dinner in the restaurant- main meals were disappointing as the meat was so tough it wasn’t edible. The staff were lovely however and took this off our bill and did offer us another dish, but we were already put off. Drink prices were ridiculous-£14.50 for 2 pints. Luckily we live in the area, so we walked into town for the afternoon and went to a local pub which was £4.50 for a pint. The rooms were very clean and modern. The bed was huge which was great! Breakfast was also very nice (buffet). Upon check out, we were told there was around £70 to pay even though we had only had 2 drinks. We questioned this and staff soon realised that someone else’s food had been put on our bill!! Luckily, the staff were very helpful and realised it was an error their end so corrected our bill to £14.50. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again, but would do bed and breakfast and walk into town for dinner.

Most things about the hotel were excellent. I had a wonderful full-body massage (it was my first time having one and the therapist made me feel very comfortable), the staff were all super friendly and welcoming, the room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the food (both breakfast and dinner) was delicious. The only thing I was keen on was that every time you wanted to go to and from the pool/spa area you had to go and exchange your key at reception. This involved walking through the bar, past the restaurant and into the open reception area, which doesn't feel very comfortable or convenient when you might be in a dressing down or something. It would be better if the room key cards also opened the spa. But apart from that, I had a wonderful stay and I recommend it.
