Old Town House Hotel

We were lucky enough to stay at the very lovely Old Town House at Market Place, Margate this weekend. The property is superbly kept, stylishly put together and very comfortable ~ so much so, we’ve been badgering the host to find out where all the bedding is from! We were allowed an early check-in which we were really grateful for and then gifted a late check-out which was equally well received. We were given recommendations about parking and where to eat. There is an attention to detail with soft linens, fluffy towels, Haekels toiletries and even umbrellas you can borrow. The hotel is impeccably clean which is a real plus for me and well, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The host went above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble. The location is spot on, just a five minute walk from the Turner and Margate Main Sands. All in all, we loved our time at the Old Town House and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. We booked direct and got a really good price too.

We spent one night in the hotel. The location is great and very central with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants a few minutes walk away. The room was cosy and the bed divinely comfortable. The shower was great. There’s a large car park a 5 minute walk away.

We stayed here for two nights in mid-August. Having left booking to the last minute, I was slightly apprehensive about finding suitable accommodation. I needn't have worried. The Old Town House is centrally located, our room was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, the bed was comfortable and the en-suite shower room was superb. And the host, Anne was wonderfully helpful.

Very clean and well fitted out, very good location, next to a pub but excellent soundproofing, extremely helpful hosts. We had two rooms: number 1 was small on ground floor, number 5 was large but two flights of stairs. Quite expensive, in mid-August at least.

Beautiful property in the heart of Margate. Lovely decor, spotless room with great facilities. The Old Town House is in the centre of Margate in walking distance and the local amenities and stunning beach. Excellent location for a trip to Dreamland

I stayed as a solo traveller at Ezestays Margate and I could not be happier with the experience. Anne was fantastic and was on hand at all times. My room was exceptionally clean and very tastefully decorated, and I particularly loved the complimentary snacks which were a lovely touch. The location was fantastic - right in the middle of town and about a two minute walk to the beach. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend - 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
