Beautiful stay cation venue. Despite a mess up in our reservation, the manager went way out to ensure we had a good time. Rooms are clean. Big and spacious and very well equipped. The ocean views are stunning. The pool is heated. The extra facilities like jacuzzi and squash court are chargeable which is disappointing. This venue is a walk to the beach. And close drive to the Spar.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Côte d’Azur. We were welcomed warmly and especially enjoyed Siswe, the gentleman at reception. The apartment was so beautiful and clean and had everything we could have needed. Keep in mind that in South Africa, there are no electrical plugs in bathrooms

Beautiful bright and breezy apartments overlooking Lucien beach across to Margate. Very clean. Has everything as if you're at home. Ironing board, all kinds of kitchen and entertainment crockery. Comfy bed with beautiful white linen and an assortment of pillows. Heated pool with bar and restaurant nearby. I love it falling to sleep with the crashing of waves on the rocks below. Maintenance staff come quickly eg TV, aircon and clean up your braai.

We arrived late. It was dark and raining. the time was 7p.m. We asked if there was somewhere in the hotel where we could order a sandwich. We were told that the coffee shop was closed and if we wanted to get something the Spar was up the road. My husband kicked up a fuss and they reluctantly came forward with a menu from the local pizza place. Seeing the coffee shop was only supposed to close at 8 this was a poor show. Accommodation was satisfactory. Serviced only twice a week. Wonderful patio. Have to pay extra for aircon. This timeshare needs to be remember that one goes on holiday to relax. Not to wash dishes after e very meal. Unfortunately couldn't go down to the beach because the rains had washed the walkway away. We went to report this to the management who denied any knowledge of it.. Other than that a pleasant stay. Would we stay there again. No. Better accommodation elsewhere in Natal with service every day. Normal proximity to the beach at normal times is first class

The Hotel itself deserves a solid 4. However, due to its location, Margate Town and Beach, I deducted a point. The town is sadly neglected, and the beach is polluted. With that said, the accommodation is very nice. The pool, children's playground, spa, and bar are very good. The rooms could do with some renovation but are still exceptional with a lovely private balcony, including braai.

Excellent resort. Friendly Staff. Clean. Check In Was quick and easy Room was clean and neat. Has everything you require Only complaint is the water is not hot just warm. After a day in the pool you need a hot shower. Coffee Shop was quiet we had coffee and cake . Was good.

The building and it's units are steps away from the beach. The resort is very well maintained and in good shape. Generators back up the whole resort in case of load shedding. The apartments come with a BBQ per unit, the kitchens are very well equipped with all you might need to cook. The apartments were serviced daily by housekeeping as well. The best touch in my opinion was the home-made jar of marmalade in the fridge upon arrival, it was divine! There was a full daily list of activities organised for young and old around the grounds and by the heated pool. Very well run resort with excellent and friendly staff across the whole team, we hope to come back soon.
