A very comfortable and clean hostel. Very accessible from the tram, just a few meters from one of its stops.

The room is spacious, the bus stop is not far away, travel is convenient, the front desk is friendly, and overall the price/performance ratio is good. You can catch a bus to the main island of Venice within five minutes of leaving the house.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It was probably run by a South Asian. The smell of perfume was so strong that it still choked my nose after staying there for several hours. The quilt was not changed every day. I slept with a bath towel on it. The sound insulation was almost zero. The people on the street talked as if they were in the same room. There were a few people upstairs who were jumping up and down all the time. I am a person who falls asleep very easily, and I was very tired after driving for a day, but I still only slept for 3 hours. , you are constantly woken up and want to experience the lower limit, you can go

The place smells strongly of smoke which they tried to cover up with a nauseating perfume. Everything is really dusty and looks like hasn’t been cleaned for weeks. A really loud noise of (I guess) an airco system comes from the outside, so when you open the window to try to get the smell out, the noise is too strong and it’s hard to fall asleep. I tried talking to the guy at the reception, Omar. He just sat there and refused to improve the situation. I told Omar I would open a Booking claim reporting the low cleanliness levels. Afterwards, I found out that Omar retaliated against me and told Booking that I damaged the property, which of course is an absolute lie. This is clearly a pattern: if you check the negative Google reviews for the hotel, you’ll see that Omar replies denying everything and accusing the customer of bad behaviour. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place at all costs!

We came to this hotel because we knew the owner, unfortunately he is no longer there and they have taken over the hotel, the result is terrible, the television does not work, but it would be nothing compared to the room not being cleaned, towels not changed, left on the floor, experience not to be repeated

To be as objective as possible in the review I will give pros and cons. Pros: The owners are very kind. The rooms were tidied every day and the tablecloths changed. And the pros end here unfortunately. Cons: Upon arrival we noticed that the owners speak almost exclusively English, not a problem for us coming from Malta, but for many it could be. Same thing with the proximity to the station, there are almost 3 km to walk, so not that close. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, the beds were good but the shower area was terrible, the walls full of mold and we found an elastic band full of hair from a previous customer. The area is quite seedy, in two days we saw a car with the window smashed and a bar that was robbed. The worst was the night, we stayed in a room next to one with the sign "private" so we deduced it was the owners, regardless of who lived there they still made a terrifying ****** all night all 4 nights, they carried objects, slammed doors, talked loudly. So until the morning at 8:00 when the cleaning service began and even there, screams and rackets, basically we couldn't sleep a wink and things didn't change even after our complaints. The "refreshment" area only has a couple of refrigerators and some instant coffee. Basically I wouldn't recommend staying in this hotel, the price is very high for what it offers and it's not as close to Venice as it is advertised, a real shame.
