To be as objective as possible in the review I will give pros and cons. Pros: The owners are very kind. The rooms were tidied every day and the tablecloths changed. And the pros end here unfortunately. Cons: Upon arrival we noticed that the owners speak almost exclusively English, not a problem for us coming from Malta, but for many it could be. Same thing with the proximity to the station, there are almost 3 km to walk, so not that close. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, the beds were good but the shower area was terrible, the walls full of mold and we found an elastic band full of hair from a previous customer. The area is quite seedy, in two days we saw a car with the window smashed and a bar that was robbed. The worst was the night, we stayed in a room next to one with the sign "private" so we deduced it was the owners, regardless of who lived there they still made a terrifying ****** all night all 4 nights, they carried objects, slammed doors, talked loudly. So until the morning at 8:00 when the cleaning service began and even there, screams and rackets, basically we couldn't sleep a wink and things didn't change even after our complaints. The "refreshment" area only has a couple of refrigerators and some instant coffee. Basically I wouldn't recommend staying in this hotel, the price is very high for what it offers and it's not as close to Venice as it is advertised, a real shame.
