"We booked, not knowing that it was going to be 94 degrees F (34.4C) in the rooms with no AC. You would think that over $80 a night would be at least comfortable. This was the most miserable place I have stayed in a while, a sparse, tiny room with concrete floors, a hard bed, and a floor fan. The young lady who made us breakfast was nice, it is right in front of a beach, and when conditions are right looks good for surfing. I guess if you are used to sleeping in brutal heat, maybe the atmosphere is for you, but definitely not a good value for what you get. We left a day early, even though we prepaid, it was that bad."

"There's such a nice place, very close to the ocean, very nice rooms and the Owner herself is very friendly, if you are in Panama you must visit this place, there are two beautiful beaches not far away, I prefer the beach (Playa Torio). The ocean water is very warm"

"This is a lovely place with a fantastic view! The pool right outside the room is also lovely. But... the owner of the place is only interested in our money and he alone was the reason why our stay was not so pleasant anyway. The first day we ordered dinner there, even though the price was ridiculously high, 38 USD per person. The food was simple with salad for starter, shrimp (it looked like) and pasta and a dessert consisting of a scoop of ice cream. This was not worth the price, absolutely not! When we were going to check out and pay for two dinners and five beers we were presented with a bill that was very vague. I asked why it was so high and was told that the coffee we drank was not free! Well, he had a price list in the bar but no coffee was listed on it. Honestly, at that daily price the coffee should have been free. When I asked about the other things he had listed on the bill, we were told that it was "everything else" we had received... what then? He didn't serve us anything extra! Finally, we must mention the road down from the main road... full of large rocks and almost impassable unless you have a high SUV or Jeep. We were very disappointed when we left this "dream place"..."

"Nice pool, lovely sunbeds, nice atmosphere but dirty kitchen and sanitary. People are friendly and the gardens look stunning.more dtorage space would be nice or even outdoor lockers for when you are going surfing. Would definitely come back."

"I love this place so much! Everything is fantastic. The rooms are specious, clean and tastefully decorated. AC working perfectly. The pool area is great for relaxing in both the sun and the shade. Great sunsets are only a short stroll away. The food is simply amazing both breakfast and dinner! To add on all this the staff manages to combine friendliness and service mindedness in a way that is rare. The location is great for accessing both beaches of Santa Catalina. I truly recommend this establishment!"
