The accommodation impresses with a fantastic breakfast, spacious modern rooms, and friendly staff. Convenient location near the beach and city center. However, some mention the need for daily cleaning.

Overall a very nice place to stay. Frienfly staff, good location. We spent 10 wonderful days here... a couple of things to mention for future bookings. The private beach is not free although no extra charge mentioned on the website (20 euros/day!). We have not been told that if you wish to have clean towels for the pool it also comes with extra charge per day. The safe in the room isnt free to use either. Im very glad we did breakfast only in the hotel as the food is very repetetive (if you are a meat lover its a big no no). Plenty of cakes, different kinda bread options but not much esle. For 35euros/person its better to sit in s restaurant on the beach! The secure carpark is very good if you renting a car, the pool is great and well mainained. We had a great time!

I don't know on what basis they gave 4 stars, carpet full of stains, broken toilet seat, the double bed is actually two joined beds, the curtains are so thin that they can't darken the room, and all this in a delax double room paid €240 a night... certainly with this price we expected much more

Lovely rooms and pool area, brilliant staff but that's all. We paid a LOT of money for a good pool & a nice room. The drinks weren't nice, super strong and lack of decent mixers. The food is bare minimum if you have any kind of dietary requirement. Eggs and cold meats, fruit and yoghurt isn't worth the price tag. The staff work hard and tried their best & they work long hours for what I can imagine is meadocre pay. The local area is run down but busy & a gorgeous beach so that's a plus! However, if you're celiac there's no restaurants you can eat at safely. We chose to leave early because we ended up surviving on snacks from local shops for two days, the food situation was that dire. Its not the staffs fault & if you're normal dietary wise you'll have a stunning holiday!! The management and higher ups need to sort the food out & pay the staff more. I saw older gentlemen who should probably be retired working from 8am till 11pm!!

An excellent 7 day stay at the Acacia Palace Hotel at Marina di Ragusa. All staff were extremely helpful and looked after us well especially Florentine and Nathali in the restaurant and our happy cleaner who was very efficient and cheered us up every morning (Room 355). Excellent clean accommodation, excellent breakfast and a very good variety of food in the evening (we noticed a couple of reviews that said the choice of food in the evening was limited, which we strongly disagree with). Excellently located for a lovely sandy beach and the swimming pools were very good also. After dinner (we stayed half board), we enjoyed our evening strolls to the local town, Marina di Ragusa, where there were shops, restaurants and a marina. We will definitely return.

We had a fantastic stay at the Arcacia Palace Hotel. We stayed in a Deluxe room with a garden view. Our room was lovely, the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bed linen counterpanes were good quality as were the towels, soft and changed very regularly. There is a handy safe in the room which costs 2€ per day. We booked with Jet2 Holiday, only double rooms featured to be booked but please note you can have a twin room as we did. We called Jet2 customer services for them to request this but they could not guaruntee our request so in addition we emailed the hotel directly quoting our booking reference and our request was sanctioned by them. our room (153) was on the left side of the hotel. The room's had a terrace area next to a large lawned area. The grounds of the hotel are fabulous. The outdoor facilities and gardens are maintained to a very high standard. The hotels Acacia Palace and Acacia Marina are sister hotels located directly next to each other, the grounds, facilities are between the two buildings and can be shared, it is a matter of only about 50 yards between the two buildings. The Arcacia Palace is newer than Arcacia Marina. The restaurant is located within the Arcacia Marina building. The rooms at Arcacia Palace are swankier but I would say that apart from that, staying at the Acacia Marina you equally benefit from the beautiful grounds, facilities, pools etc and the excellent buffet breakfast that is provided for both. The breakfast offerings encompassed, in my opinion all that you could ever dream of to have for breakfast including hot items plus egg dishes cooked to order (scrambled, fried etc). Our board was bed and breakfast, we only had the evening dinner there one evening prior to an early start the following day to go on a trip. The evening dinner was also in a buffet format, the cost 35 euros. We were extremely disappointed with what was on offer for a main course that evening and felt it certainly was not worth the cost. Whilst the main course fare was nit as expected, in our opinion, the desserts and cakes were delicious. Afterwards we thought we may have a drink in the bar til we noticed there is an additional service charge of (!) 2.50€. The two pools were lovely, plenty of good quality, comfortable sunbeds and also parasols. There is an area of beach, at the most, 200 yards from the hotel for use of both hotels guests, it has the same comfortable sunbeds. Also included in the cost is the use of the well-kept male/female WCs located in a small wooden building close to the hotel's sunbeds. Book and pay for sunbeds/parasol at reception, you will be given a ticket to take with you. The cost to use two sunbeds and a parasol is 10 euros (5€ each) upto 1.30pm. A full day cost is 20 euros (10€ each). Lifeguards/beach attendants are sat at front of the sunbed area, you give them your purchase ticket first before you select which sunbeds you want. We holidayed 29 May to 8 June, the temperature was not

We stayed at this hotel as part of a three week car tour of Sicily in a May/June 2025. We stayed bed and breakfast and on the whole were more than satisfied. The hotel is situated in a quite a pleasant part of the south of the island and is somewhat quieter than the frenetic but more spectacular east of island and resorts like Taormina. The rooms were very nice, we had booked a garden room, which is what we got and was very pleasant. The hotel has a number of pools set amidst beautiful well kept gardens…..really lovely gardens. Breakfast was pretty good - especially if you like cakes and sweet things! - but the one evening meal we had was not so good. It was buffet style and cost €35 pp and the room, the same as where breakfast served, was atmosphere-less and the food was not great unless you liked pizza……we were so relieved that we had not chosen half board as people we spoke to on package tours described the meals as “samey” and monotonous. Having said that we hadn’t quite realised that May is considered “shoulder season” in Sicily, even though weather good or better than most of Med at this time of year and most of hotels pretty booked up……this meant that many of the restaurants and cafes in the town were not open or only partially open. There is a good, dedicated, gated car park which is excellent - and free. Unlike the sunbeds on the beach which we believe were pretty pricey per day and small charges for things like the hotel safe in your room, for which there is a daily charge (haven’t seen that since the 1980’s and we thought rather mean). Bathrobes appear on the hotels photos but there were none……but you can pay €5 pp per week for these……why they don’t just put them out and add €5 to the bill, I don’t know?! If you are an “Inspector Montelbano” fan this area is fantastic…..a lot of the episodes were filmed in the small towns and cities that are within a short drive, including what had acted as his home in nearby Punto Secco and the police HQ ((Vigata) in nearby Scicli (the police hq and office still set up as in series in old town hall……€3 entrance fee!). Ragusa and Modica where seem scenes shot are fantastic. How easy it is to visit these places without a car (we heard some tourists being told there were no buses and trains on a Sunday and the organised trips seemed fairly expensive and only ) I don’t know. Having said that, Sicilian roads and Sicilian drivers are something else! Overall……a nice hotel and we enjoyed are stay. And on the drive back to Catania we go to view Mt Etna erupt……quite a sight!

Great modern room & bed. Two pools. Fabulous breakfast buffet. Excellent value for the price. Restaurant on property and many others in walking distance. We did not get a chance to try the private beach.

Service very good, the only issue of concern was when we arrived with our car we were told to use the white doors down the road (without any instructions on how to enter on arrival). The gates were closed and if a car had not been leaving we would have not gained access without walking back to reception. Also there was no one available to take our luggage until we arrived back at reception and for someone with a difficulty to walk this was a concern. Over all though a very pleasant stay.
