Most important was they where dog friendly! The staff so accommodating and nice. Loved the shuttle from the cottages to the lodge. Amenities galore! Easy access to the Yosemite a huge plus. Will love to come back in spring and summer. Thanks for a great experience! The Christmas decorations where beautiful!

The food at Jackalope was excellent. I had the rib-eye steak and it was perfectly cooked. My husband had the short ribs and they were absolutely amazing. Definitely 5-stars for the food and service.
Although it was just my husband and me, I liked that they had a kiddie pool. All I could think of was my grandchildren enjoying playing in it all day. They also have three adult pools and jacuzzi. My only complaint is that we ran out of towels poolside.
The facilities were clean and inviting. This was our first time staying at a hotel/lodge since COVID, so we discovered at Tenaya room cleaning is not automatic. If you want your room cleaned you have to schedule it 24-hours in advance. Read the fine print.
Overall, it a great place to stay for visiting Yosemite.

Nice hotel with many amenities to be used. Beautiful lobby and they gave us free water bottles and s’mores to make it ourselves at the outdoor fire pits! There’s an indoor warm pool as well.. A very family friendly place to stay!:)

Very much enjoyed our stay at the lodge. The facilities were very nice, clean, and the location was very close to Yosemite South Gate (~2 miles). The services was very good. The restaurant/food service was good. The resort offered an indoor and out door pools, and lots of activities on site for families/children. would definitely recommend considering this lodge if you are planning a visit to Yosemite.

The hotel is located at the south gate of Highway 41 National Park, about an hour's drive from the core scenic area Valley View. However, there are ancient tree scenic spots around the hotel, where you can take a light hike. The ancient trees are very impressive.
The hotel is a very traditional American resort hotel. The hotel swimming pool is very beautiful. You can sit at the pool bar and read a book in the afternoon. The hotel service is very good and parking is convenient. The room is also large and the bedding is average.
