Yosemite Plaisance Bed & Breakfast

Fantastic experience! Our host Helene cooked yummy breakfast and gave us great recommendations for exploring Yosemite. The room was large and clean.

The room was clean and comfortable. The host was excellent and very friendly. Excellent breakfast! Short drive to Yosemite. The area was peaceful.

If you visit Yosemite and cannot stay in the park, make this your first choice! Comfy and clean rooms, amazing breakfasts, and wonderful treats given to you for your travels! Would most definitely stay here again. I cannot say enough about our wonderful hosts! It was an easy ride to the valley and Mariposa Grove. Mariposa is also a cute town with many places to eat.

I cannot imagine staying anywhere else when visiting Yosemite or Mariposa! I was arguing in favor of the cheapest hotel in town; my boyfriend insisted we spend a bit more and reserved a room here instead. I’m so glad he did - it really made our trip! The owners, Helene and Ron, are so kind and thoughtful and really embody the friendly, welcoming, down to earth vibe of this sweet little town. The breakfast and baked goods (cookies, shortbread, english muffins - something new to love each day!) are home made and delicious, the beds and pillows are comfy, the water pressure is generous, there is a trove of good books to read in the rooms, and there are Tesla charging stations outside if that is important to you (we don’t have an electric vehicle but appreciate that it’s available for others). Helene sent us off with a packed breakfast and snacks when we left early for Yosemite, and was attentive and very knowledgeable about the area. The garden and outdoor dining area is eclectic and artsy, which I loved. We fell in love with Mariposa - it’s a very special place, and Helene and Ron made it even more special by taking such good care of us. We’ll definitely be back. If you’re thinking of staying, just book it!

Charming bed and breakfast. Helena prepares an amazing breakfast every morning. Everything is delicious and fresh. Very comfortable rooms. Definitely a 10/10.

Wonderful accomodation. The personal touch and the warm friendly interactions is what sets this apart. Ron and Helene are lovely and so very welcoming. Home made breakfast, fresh strawberries, home made jam, home made treats to take on your day out. Great location. Comfy big beds. Can't recommend it enough. Helene is just amazing!

What a wonderful stay in a clean, spacious and well equipped property. Helene and Ronald were extremely caring hosts and a wonderful couple. The breakfast was extremely delicious and filling each morning that we stayed. Post breakfast, there were goodies like cake, brownies, soft chocolate chip biscuits to take along for our day at Yosemite. Received very good guidance from Helene on each of the 3 days for hiking at Yosemite. She also gave our son, who is in the spectrum, some really good career advice. Absolutely loved those 3 days.
