This may turn out quite long so please bear with me. As a seasoned traveller I have stayed in many different hotels around the world, so I hope my views are objective. Check in process was very quick, but I was the only one checking in so you would hope so. There are 2 lifts, although only 1 was working during my stay and that broke down for a day, but these things happen. The room was clean and spacious and had everything you could need, although a little dated but that’s no biggie. There is a TV in the room, where you can watch Netflix or Amazon if you have accounts. The air con was good, but remember to keep the balcony door closed, or it doesn’t work. There was nothing in the room to inform you where anything is, so you need to go exploring (rooms are on floors 2 to 5, reception is L and everything else is on -1). There are 2 decent sized pools and a children’s paddling pool, at the side of which are various lilos and rings for guests to use. There is a shop for essentials (although Del Boys supermarket is only a 2 minute walk and a lot cheaper), there is a wellness centre and hairdresser and doctor also in this area. The restaurant is also located on -1 and I’ve seen varying reviews about the food. Remember you are in Turkey, so the food reflects that. No it’s not hugely varied and no it’s not piping hot, but that’s how it is in hotter countries. As you go in the main door to the restaurant, on your Right there are 4 hot containers. At breakfast these contain boiled eggs, Turkish spiced omelette, scrambled eggs and baked beans, at lunch/night it’s rice, chicken dish, beef dish, meatball dish. The meat dishes vary each day, but the type of meat doesn’t. On your left at breakfast are the cold cuts, bread, jam, honey etc and salad and desserts at other times. At the far end of the restaurant is the bar, where you can get fruit juices at breakfast and other drinks at lunch/dinner. On the far Left at this end is another server, where you can get mostly vegetarian dishes, including chips and pasta, as well as chicken skewers and pasta sauces. Between the bar and this servery is the coffee and tea, which is served at breakfast. Well I hope you find this useful and in conclusion this is not a bad hotel at all and I will certainly consider returning in the future.
Excellent
