Green Nature Resort and Spa

So close to being the best – but the evenings (and a few other things) let it down. We’ve just returned from an 11-night stay at this hotel, and while there’s so much to love, there are also some real frustrations that stop it from being an “absolutely would return” destination. It’s right on the edge of greatness — a few improvements would take it from good to exceptional. --- What was brilliant: Fantastic family facilities: The outdoor areas are genuinely impressive. There’s a great five-a-side football pitch and a basketball court — both of which were big hits with our children. But what really stood out was how safe these specific areas were. Let me be clear — I’m only talking about these two zones here: the football pitch and basketball court are completely enclosed, with high fences topped with barbed wire and no access from the outside. Kids can’t scale the fencing to wander off, and no one can climb in from the street. As parents, that gave us real peace of mind. You can let the kids play freely without worrying they’ll end up outside the resort grounds. Slides and pools: The slides are brilliant — fast, fun, and suitable for both kids and adults. Pools were clean, plenty of sunbeds available, and staff kept things well maintained. The staff – a standout feature: Every single staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful, and professional. From reception to entertainment, chefs, waiters, and housekeeping — they all created a genuinely positive, welcoming vibe. We never experienced poor service, and that really elevated the whole stay. Bar service and drinks: Bar staff were prompt and efficient, with a decent selection of drinks — local beers, soft drinks, unbranded spirits, iced coffees, and even Baileys. The spirits are quite weak (one whisky we saw was just 19%), but given Türkiye’s relaxed drinking culture, that wasn’t unexpected. We just grabbed a branded bottle from a shop to top up our mixers — problem solved. Food quality and variety: The restaurant is large and well-run, with a truly impressive range of food. From Turkish favourites to international staples, there’s something for everyone. You could easily enjoy: A full English breakfast each morning — eggs, sausages, beans, hash browns, toast. Family-friendly options for picky eaters like burgers, chips, nuggets, and pizza. Lighter bites like sushi, fresh salads, and grilled vegetables. Hot chocolate and a good coffee selection. A wide variety of lovely desserts — cakes, pastries, and fruit that changed daily. Everything was replenished quickly, tables cleared efficiently, and even at peak times it didn’t feel chaotic. A real highlight of the stay. WiFi – surprisingly excellent: No charges, and it worked everywhere. We were getting speeds of 20–30 Mbps — more than enough for streaming, video calls and social media. Great to see a resort not cashing in on WiFi like many others do. --- What really let it down: Evening entertainment – poorly planned and extreme

I’ll start with the good points Bed is extremely comfy Bar is well stocked Maids are lovely, bottled water each day, shower is strong, rooms are clean, staff are friendly Food is plentiful Now on to the bad points The aircon is old and is more like a jail aircon than an actual system, when we arrived the balcony door was broken. Our shower drain is also broken with cracks in the floor, dangerous as it could easily slice your foot open Day 4 in to our holiday and we’re both sick. Vomiting and diareahh we’ve been confined to our room for 2 days solid Kids and adults picking up food with hands, taking bites out of food and leaving it on the counter which has probably caused our illness. Bar and pool areas messy, drinks and food everywhere. Spillages on stairs which haven’t been cleaned up, pool area massively slippy witnessed a few people falling over. Would I return? Not a chance I’ll go to the diamond next time

Would not recommend this hotel . Very noisy music blasting out all day long . At night people making that much noise in the corridor at all hours . Kids running round all over the place unattended even in the restaurant food always cold . The bar staff are very good but in the restaurant they have there favourites. Don't like Marmaras won't be back .

2nd time back, having gone in July 2024 and then returned in May 2025 for the MIL’s birthday. We were in the main hotel building this time, and were worried about some recent reviews re noise and other families’ behaviours - but no issues at all and was great to have views of the hills and boars and get the sun on the balconies. This is a fantastic resort, the staff are really amazing - pool staff work so hard to keep poolside immaculate and manage any sunbed wars. Entertainment team are great. Restaurant staff were fab, always helping sort tables and serving drinks. They all seem to be happy working there, which makes a huge difference in our opinion. Food is plentiful with wide choices including outdoor BBQ, and varies day to day. So much to choose from. We love this place! Pools were fine temperature wise for us, had a day of rain and the kids loved it, so much fun in the pool. Slides are great.

I visited May 19th-26th 2025 with my mum and little brother. Brother loved the pool areas and slides. Food: was average but a bit repetitive and sometimes cold. Snack bar was better than main restaurant at lunch time. Staff: Every single staff member we encountered were amazing and very friendly, I have never been in a resort with such friendly staff before. Special appreciation for restuarant staff Osmond, very friendly and welcoming and to all the entertainment staff who were very approachable, friendly professional, especially Drake and Tartar who made every feel included and looked after. Also the photographer(unsure of name) he was very friendly and always smiling. Entertainment: good pool side entertainment throughout the day, evening entertainment shows do not start until 10pm which is a little late for the children, but the entertainment stage is very good ensuring everyone has a space to view shows. Alcoholic drinks: were average, nothing special and cocktails made from machine. Location: good location, around 10 minute walk to the beach front, although most of these beaches were filled with lounges for local bars and restaurants, most offered for free if you bought drinks. The hotel offer a free shuttle bus every day to Volvo beach where you get free lounges and can access the beach area. Overall good stay and would recommend the hotel.

We’ve been to Green Nature Resort & Spa five times now and the experience has usually been a positive one. Staff, food, drink all ok facilities are also good. What we feel lets this hotel down is the guests, many seem to think that because they are holiday it’s ok to forget their manners (if they had any to start with!) pushing in at the buffet, kicking the legs of the sunbeds and inconsiderate tw@ts playing portable speakers to the max by the poolside (yeah you know who you are!) is what really lets this place down, if you could stop this type of vermin from visiting it would push this rating up to five stars!!
