Halici Hotel Marmaris

Rooms quite small, and not much entertainment that is the only downside food amazing staff amazing especially omer went out of his way to do anything for you a credit to halici, rooms cleaned every day by lovely polite housekeeping staff 5 minute walk to the beach and the bazar, lovely pool plenty of sunbeds some rude guests but you can’t blame the hotel for that. All in all it was a Lovley relaxing 10 days thank you halici 👍

We stayed at this hotel from 8th July till 18th July .. me,my husband and our 18 year old daughter .. so 3 adults in one room. Rooms are tiny (definately do not look like pictures on website). Couldn't sit on the balcony as air conditioning unit it situated on the balcony and blows out very hot air (unbearable)! Only 4 coat hangers in the wardrobe so had to live out of the suitcase for 10 days. We had an issue with pillows.. we requested 3 extra pillows 1 for each of us in the room ..asked reception a lovely gentleman said 'yes' we will sort it for you.. we didn't receive them so the next day I asked reception again and spoke to a lady who basically said we had no chance .. like I was asking for gold dust! After another couple of days I went to speak to Maria (what a legend) ! She had it sorted within a couple of hours and also an apology in our room consisting of a fruit platter and a bottle of champagne! Maria is a total asset to your hotel she is very much approachable and deals promptly with any issues you may have. the hotel is situated in a perfect location away from all the hustle and bustle if you don't want it but close enough if you do ! Staff extremely friendly and polite 'Omar' or Dave as he likes to be called is so helpful and always happy to help and have a chat. The hotel is spotlessly clean could not fault the cleanliness at all. Now onto the Food (shocking) we ate our evening meal in the hotel the first 3 nights and then we ate out for the following 7 nights .. not much choice at all ..OK me and my daughter are fussy eaters but some nights there wasn't even chips to fall back on so therefore we wouldn't of eaten if we hadn't of eaten out locally. Sunbeds.. what a nightmare ..no sunbed unless you put towels on sunbeds at 12.30am ..horrendous we have NEVER done this ever before !! But then Maria was on the case and she soon had it under control ..taking towels off beds if they wasn't in use as people were putting towels on sunbeds then going out for the day or off to the beach and expecting to have their sunbeds when they returned .. so if you are one of these people DO NOT BE SO SELFISH ! I enjoyed watching your faces though when somebody else was on 'your' sunbeds!! The food is the reason I have only gave the hotel 3 out of 5 it was terrible!! I wouldn't come back to this hotel purely because of the size of the rooms and the variety of food !!

Lovely hotel definitely not 3 star more like 5. Rooms are nice size and cleaned regularly. Food spot on . Drinks strong and not watered down. Pool was nice but got to be up early if you want the best spot, smaller pool is best. Close to town center and marina, I would like to thank all the staff so warm and welcoming 🙏 Especially Maria guest relations lady could not do enough for us. Big mention to armageden the bar manager and omar known as Dave lol 😆 and not forgetting Fred 😉 Only one down side was Mehmet one of the managers , his attitude and demina was very unprofessional, he was intimidating and it appears very clear that he didn't like the English , however Maria was very atentive and dealt with any issues that were raised . Iv not long returned from a lovely weeks stay at the Halici Hotel Marmaris. Can’t fault the hotel and the staff especially Maria & Omar nothing was too much trouble and I want to thank you all for looking after me and my family so well. Food, pool, rooms, location and general service of the hotel 5* and we would definitely return

Halici Hotel is a hidden gem of a hotel. It's extremely rare to find such a lovely hotel. It may be rated a three-star hotel; however, I would award the hotel five stars in every department, faultless in every way. The hotel is spotlessly clean and cleaned constantly day and night. Accommodation rooms are exceptional. Excellent location, just a few minutes walk to the harbour and beach. The food is of the highest quality, all fresh, and the widest choice to cater for all taste buds. Being all inclusive is an added bonus food and drink from 7am to 11am every day. All the staff are polite and professional and greet the guests with a big smile, wave and a few welcoming words. The guest manager Maria is on hand to assist the guests if required. My only complaint would be having to leave this lovely enjoyable hotel!

Friendly staff good service. Negative some people reserved sunbeds from about 6 am, there was a sign warning people u occupied beds would have towels etc moved after one hour this was NOT done, it should be to stop selfish people saving them ,
