Amazing place, best hotel we have stayed at by a country mile. Very family focused, rooms where just outstanding could have just stayed there for a week. Beach and snack bar were beautiful and felt like we were somewhere else even though it was all part of the hotel. The twins (Barker) from the animation team really helped made the interaction fun and entertaining. Jacobs tattoo/piercing and hair dressers in the hotel were great, Got a tattoo while here and the price and quality are outstanding. Mufasa haha! Great to talk with. All the staff were just outstanding and couldn't do enough for you. They looked happy to be working and nothing was to much trouble. Beach was beautiful and again part of the hotel so it was on your door step. Mini bar room stock up everyday the kids have really enjoyed this and ate like kings. Speaking with guests to find out the majority are regulars really says a lot about this place. We feel we want to become regulars and will return.

We have been coming to this hotel for many years now. The 1st time was when our son was conceived (lol) then known as the Elif Mar, 25 years ago! The update which this hotel has had over the years is great. As of late the decor in the bedrooms do need updating, but you can get by. The main reason we come back to this hotel is because of the location, the friendly atmosphere among the staff with us and also the cleanliness of our rooms. The reception staff are extremely attentive to your needs if you have a problem or a request. They will go above and beyond their call of duty. The housekeeping will do anything for you, I had a torn blouse and they repaired it without charge, no problem, done within 30 mins. The bar staff are happy and very chatty with you, asking about you and letting them know abt themselves too. If you are all inclusive, ok, the food can get a bit repetitive if your staying for 2 weeks, but there are so many varieties, bearing in mind it is not your 5 star from Spain were you get amount fulls of dishes. It is a small boutique hotel adults only, not a big hotel. The drinks are all inclusive but not on exported ones, as well as cocktails. In all we will be staying in this hotel again, it is right on the beach, free sunbeds and towels on the actual beach.

There were 12 of us, all mixed ages from toddler to 58. The hotel was always clean. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Pool area and bar were exceptional. Our room was cleaned daily. The only thing i would agree with on the negative reviews is it’s not 4 star quality as us brits know it but we couldn’t fault it. We ate out a lot but there was always something we could have eaten if we had wanted. They catered for children. The bar staff were always polite and couldn’t do enough for us. The alcoholic drinks were perfect and not watered down at all. If anything they have triple measures! The hotel rep sorted all out trips and we got some fabulous deals. However there are two sides to this hotel and the side for adult only is run down. We were in the other side as we had children with us. So ignore all the negativity. If you want a nice, relaxed traditional Turkish holiday The Munamar beach resort is perfect and for the price you can’t really grumble. We paid £780 for 10 days flights and holiday. If you want luxury then obviously this isn’t the hotel for you.

We have been to Turkey before and decided to stay somewhere different and we chose Dost Hotel. We came with our two friends and their young baby. The staff were all so so lovely and accomaditing, they couldn't do enough for us. Everyday we would speak with the staff and they would take a general interest in our day and wellfair as well as interact with the baby. The room itself was lovely and very spacious and clean, only downfall is the bed was very hard and took a few nights to get used to it. It also states there is a pool guests can use opposite the hotel (not owned by the hotel itself) however it was closed and had no water in. That didn't bother me personally as I don't go in the pool on holiday however it may bother some but don't worry you are not even a 5min walk from the sea which is much better! Yuksel was the most loveliest man ever! He was so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I forgot my beach towel and he kindly gave me and my partner a beach towel to use. I also clumsily fell down the stairs and he came running to make sure I was OK and really looked after me and kept checking I was OK (I was fine). He genuinely cares about his guests and the hotel and its obvious to see, we would have regular conversations with him each day. The ladies at breakfast making the food were also very friendly and smiley. Overall this hotel really made us feel welcome and all staff show a great example of customer service! Positive: - great location ...Even if the journey from Dalaman Airport feels lasts forever - delicious food( especially nightly).. Fortunately, without renting a car, you always need a taxi or partly satisfactory, riding water taxi to and back to Marmaris.Cost for taxi A trip 400 TL, Water taxi 200 TL per person A trip. - nice staff - pool/ polarea - prevalent type of fatma( reception) due to complaint/uncleanness of the whole room and screened bathroom. At least clean and throw the dust sock of a guest who was sometime under the bed has nothing happened. Small nerve collapse from my side due to strong disappointment 😞 Free UPGRADE on Suite.. clean and with clothes box!! Thank you ... - AI completely enough, beer, wine etc. ( who books HP or less must expect high costs for food and drink) - cold music all day at the pool - many beds negative: - look at the years of plant. - for 5 stars luxury hotel as indicated, unusual outdoor facilities, defect facilities. 2019 allegedly completely renovated ...I wonder ...WO? .. the suites maybe.But really cost a lot of coal if you book this normal. - Dart/table tennis is very uncharitablely integrated. - I saw photos from 2018 to 2020...has nothing to do with stand Okt.2023. Concluded: thanks to the great sun and the climate at the sea at the pool, I wouldn't come here again. -

Positives Weather was good despite it being end of season, is worth the risk if you dont like it being too hot but sunny. Facilities are excellent, the resort is enormous with lots of pools and the beach a stones throw away. The rooms are lovely, a bit dark but other than that spacious and well designed and comfortable. The food is healthy with enough choice for me but some may find it restrictive if they dont like healthy options. The animation team were nice and my kid enjoyed playing with them. Negatives The staff personally to me were not very nice, they didnt go beyond a hello, sometimes they ignored me, other times i had them letch over me making me feel very uncomfortable e.g getting a drink at the bar, sitting by the pool so basically anywhere during the day. The turkish people were served really well so the only thing i can think is wrong with me is that im english or a woman so try not to be english or a woman if you can help it!! Wifi was intermittent after the first few days. There was an event on which included a sit down meal but no one was told this so i ended up waiting until 8pm to realise food would be a long time with no child options and so was forced out to eat. Not great when you paid for all inclusive buffet! All inclusive here is a bit restrictive, they set so many times for when things are open that it can get confusing so i tended to stick to the main restaurant timings as to not get told to leave because im early. It could be that its end of season so they closed a lot of things or understaffed many of the food places. This place has a lot of potential but i suspect that due to the age of the hotel they wont be changing anytime soon, it works for them. If you like 5 star facilities and do t mind the negatives the. This place is a great, cheap option for a nice holiday. Turkey is a lovely country!

Me and the wife stayed here our first and last time. We stayed for 2 out of 7 nights then moved back to Icmeler for our last 5 nights. The live band on for 2 nights were so loud we thought they were in our room on the 3rd floor so i can”t imagine how bad the 1st and 2nd floors must have been. Then there was a DJ on for the next 3 nights as well. When the band finished at approx 1230 am the bars loud music kicked in til late. The room was very small with very little storage and a small glass fronted fridge which shone all night. The sea-view was amazing with a fair sized balcony. Breakfast was good and plenty and typical Turkish which we liked. Some of the guests were rude and walked around as if it was a 5 star which it definitely was not. When we checked out they tried to charge us for a meal and drinks we hadn’t had and we had to show proof that we had not. Would we go back? a BIG NO
