Firstly the best part about Clarence Retreat Goa is the privacy. it’s not overcrowded like most hotels, and we truly felt like it was our second home. We found this place randomly on MakeMyTrip and noticed only one review on ***********. We were a bit unsure at first, but after calling the reservation team, they explained everything clearly. We decided to book and it turned out even better than expected! The property is a restored Portuguese villa‑style homestay hotel, combining the charm of a private villa with the comfort and service of a boutique hotel. It’s peaceful, with a lovely pool, clean room, and very comfortable beds. The staff were warm and attentive, helped us with car rental and airport transfers, and the homely food was a pleasant surprise. The property is simple, private, and great value for money. We’re already planning to return with family and friends!"
