bathroom wasn't cleaned, no towels in the bathroom unless requested. Towel given were not white.

I stayed at Hotel Imperial Plaza Marrakesh from 2nd February to 4th February and had a good experience. The staff were polite and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. Overall, it was a good stay, and I would recommend this hotel.

I booked this hotel especially as a keen fitness enthusiast, I liked the photos of the gym on the trip.com site and wanted to keep up with my running and weight training. On arrival I was told there hadn’t been a gym there for a long time (years). This wasn’t a good start. The receptionists change often at the hotel and they make a big difference when we needed help. A few of the receptionists spoke excellent English and were so helpful. For example, a tour bus didn’t arrive one morning and the receptionist phoned the tour operator and was really helpful. I wish they had all spoken good English as it was quite stressful at times to understand them and versa versa. The rooms are in need of some TLC and an upgrade. Considering the entrance of the hotel looks so nice, the rooms are quite dismal. However, there was hot water for showers and the rooms were mostly cleaned each day. The breakfast was great with lots of choice and western options as well as Moroccan offerings. The chefs make omelette to request and another lady made delicious flat bread fresh in the morning. The photo is a view from our room. The staff at the hotel were friendly and welcoming which we found is typical of Moroccan people, genuinely nice people overall.

How it got to four stars and an 8 rating is a mystery to me. Let' start with the location- it's close to nothing interesting, tucked between unfinished skeletons of reinforced concrete, next to a residential neighborhood. The lobby has seen better times. The room and it's decor is aged, with a single outlet between the bed. The TV is on a side wall. Fridge in the room wasn't working, not like they wanted you to use it, because everywhere was wallpapered about not bringing food to the room. There are deeply engrained black stains in the bathtub. The breakfast was somewhat average- six heated platters, one table with olives, one table with bread and butter, one egg frying station, but seeing the pigeons feeding on the breadcrumbs on the bread cutting board with the apathetic staff just idly looking by is kind of a deal breaker to me. There is a pool on the rooftop, not big enough for swimming, but I suppose you could chill in. There are tables with privacy screens, which would be great for a romantic dinner, if the music wasn't French 90s disco so loud you can't hear your word. Plus the price level was double of the decent restaurants in the city core. I wouldn't stay there again if it was for free. If you are insensitive to filth and they adjust their pricing to half the price of an aged motel, it just could be for you. Otherwise stay elsewhere.

A very nice place, close to everything, with kind and helpful staff.

A lovely hotel with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The rooftop pool area is outstanding and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are big and very clean although could do with a little update as well used. The food is nice with a good selection but not the best i have had in a hotel(very basic) The waiters at breakfast time are very friendly and helpful. I would not recommend the food at the poolside as i received an undercooked burger which was bloody on the inside and charred on the outside. Overall a nice stay.

Good hotel, a bit old but clean. The staff are welcoming and the breakfast offers a great variety. The heating in my room wasn't working on the first day. I was moved to another room on the second day, but the heating there wasn't working properly either. The maintenance staff fixed it the next day, and it was fine after that. Some things I didn't like: - You're not allowed to bring food or drinks into the hotel. - Water is not included in the dinner buffet.

Great hotel with a fantastic roof top pool. Room was cleaned to a very high standard and the staff were so wonderful Amal was the best! She was so attentive and caring, we loved our stay - thank you ever so much, we will be back

Bad experience, the check in suppose to be at 12 and the room wasn’t ready till 13:30. Then I didn’t receive towels until 18:00. The hotel has posted pictures on its website of fitness facilities but it has not fitness facilities at all. Black marks in the bath…Breakfast is poor not enough variety and lot of cats in the restaurant… I pay for this hotel because I thought it has a gym, but when I asked they said it hasn’t got one, even though they posted pictures on their website (picture attached). I’m very disappointed, I complained to the hotel and I haven’t received any response yet. They haven’t even taken the picture from their website.

Very friendly staff, hot water took awhile in the shower, good location. Went to the wrong hotel with a similar name twice
